I have a buddy in my LS who say'd no to the mithra when she wanted the 1k. We went to fight Dark Spark last night and when he examined the tourch after the fight it said "The torch burns slowly". We waited for him to go talk to the mithra again and she wouldn't give the option to give her the 1K again. Is there anything that can be done to get that option again. I would hate to see this guy not beable to get a piece of AF do to something so minor.

After you paid the mithra 1k, you are suppose to touch the ??? on the crates near Port Jeuno AH. There you should get a cut scene if you have the old gloves key item.
In the cutscene you are asked to get the flame. That's when you are supppose to go kill dark spark.

Thanks for the reply but he said no to the mithra so he didn't pay her the 1K.
I'm not sure, since I don't know anyone who had that happen -- but have her try talking to guslam again, and check her key items for the old gauntlets just to be sure they're still there.
