And I must say, Theophany may have a point about Jwb... my AF3 fight didn't go smoothly until he took over. However it may be more true to say that everything goes better with Chops, because I never got better skillchains or exp/hour than when he was pulling for our static. ; ; Meeem~rieees...

Byaina, I'd love to post that screenshot of our static receiving 338 experience points after we killed that crab in Boyahda, but I didn't have fraps running ; ;

Correction. Anything with Jwb and Brock together goes smoothly. They owned DFA in like two seconds flat. :/
Except when Brock pulls a Sahagin back to camp with his boomerang, and accidentally targets and attacks the Young Opo-Opo, having 3 of them link, and wiping out nearly the entire group. The F8 key is only good if the desired mob is the closest one.
Or when we're coffer hunting in Castle Zvahl and Jwb decides to take a look at what's at the bottom of one of the 4 circular holes and happens to fall all the way to the bottom and gets owned by about 3 demons, totally out of tractor range.
Funny times..
I can't say that without these stories though:
1) I pulled a Bark Spider back to camp in Boyahda and pulled the same stunt Brock did with the Opo-Opo, except I attacked a Death Cap. About 4 of them linked and wiped out everyone in our static except Jwb and I.
2) Rhain, Brock and I were in Xarcabard doing BLM AF1. We got about 3 or 4 demon links at the very end of the Chaos Elemental battle, so we figured we'd just have Brock cast Teleport-Holla to get all 3 of us out of there. Rhain panics and casts Warp II on Brock about 1 second before he was able to cast Teleport-Holla. Brock made it safely to his homepoint while Rhain and I were slaughtered by demons.
3) We asked Primetime, when he was a level 57 PLD (now 75), why he doesn't ever (literally never) use Defender. He said "Because it lowers my attack."
We look back and laugh at all of our occasional noobness.

Hey Chops you say 4 death caps linked? Hmmm i seem to remember many more than 4 linking ^^. And my mistake i blame on lag, LAG i say!!!!!! I would never make such a silly mistake.
The reason I pulled the Death Caps was because I felt like we were getting too much experience points. I felt like we were going through the game too quickly for SE to really get our money's worth. So I thought it would only be fair to slow down our experience rate per hour.

Yeah Chops that was a blast, glad I came back to the jungle after my first pt experience was so bad that night.
Plus I capped my Ninjutsu which I rarely get to use cause Im too busy voking off of some overzealous BLM ;)

Looks like fun -- did this myself leveling pld ... got the party 6 levels in about 7 hours...terrific stuff. (We started at 23 in qufim, ended the night at 29 in yuhtuhnga.)
