Wintaru, my condolences to your family.
My goals were:
- Level BLM (shooting for 13, 14 from 10 if possible)
- Level WHM if have time
- Level cooking and take tests as needed
- See The Incredibles (well, I can't play ALL weekend, now can I? :D) How come no one called me on calling it Invincibles?
What about you guys?
What I got done:
- Levelled WHM to 21
- Made it to Jeuno and started chocobo quest
- Saw movie (it's fantastic!)
What I didn't and really want/need to get done this week:
- Level BLM to 14 at minimum for set party this weekend - if I can get it higher, that'd be great, too.
- Level WHM to 23/24 (again, for set party this weekend)
- Level cooking
- Farm with my mule for Regen, Cure III, and any other spells I'm not thinking of at the moment but will need
- Gear upgrade

Well.... Here goes:
-Still 5,000 points from Lumberjack - Maple Harps Suck!
-Didn't Farm :(
-No party
-Fought DS with LS again - Helped a few get their AF gloves! Whoot!
-Picked up a bit of PHP.
-Ready to load new calendar mods to LS page.
Oh well, there's always next weekend.
Also want to send my condolences to Wintaru and family. Losing a loved one is always difficult. You are in my prayers.

I've been updating my goals post as I progressed, but I thought I'd drag it down here just for the hell of it.
Silvered for accomplished.
Golded for surpassed.
Cherried for partial success.
Oranged for complete failure.
1) Get smithing up to 20. (30 pts./+5 pts. per lvl over 20)
2) PLD to 12. (30 pts./+10 pts. per level over 12))
3) Raise Windy fame, do Aspir and Mea quests. (30 pts.)
4) FINALLY get my friends through CTDL for the stone monument. (30 pts./+5 pts. if no more deaths are suffered.)
5) Get that DAMNED Utsusemi: Ichi scroll to sell >< (5 pts.)
6) Progress in Shadow Hearts: Covenant up to Petrograd. (45 pts./+5 pts. for every boss fought past Godhand)
Partial Credit:
Bonus:
Progressed in Shadow Hearts: Covenant to the Hall of the Dead. Completed the first four Solomon Trials. Gained Fire and Dark GradeMAX FMs. +45 pts.
Made 100k gil from Iron sheets. +20 pts.
Score: 145/170 85.29410%
Grade: B
End result? I had a fairly busy weekend, but as far as actual FFXI accomplishments go? Mostly a failure. =(

BTW Throat Stab took a lvl 70 PLD friend from 1200+ HP to 88 Like that Took me with Phalax and Stoneskin from 728 to 223 Not Fun

2 hints on Throat Stab:
*- It will *always* deal enough damage to leave only 5% of the target's total HP
*- It can be avoided by running away when you see it triggered ( '*' on your NumPad to unlock the target when you're fighting Tonberries, when you see 'Evil Tonberry readies Throat Stab' you turn away and run, you should see the message '<Target> is too far away' )
on a sidenote:
-did 19 BCNM runs with the LS on Friday night ( 20:00est till 6:00est ). We even *broke* it, literally, the worms moved and then just stopped on the path leading in the circle area X)
-got monk to 30
-leveled gaxe from 89 to 106
