HK Adventures in Pso'XjaFollow

This post was made on our Linkshell forums but it pretty cool so I decided to share with the rest of you fine folks.

Last night after most of the coffer party took off, Kulgan, Baosroth, Raynil, Aidama, and myself decided to take a trip to Fei' yin for the Teleport-Vahzl scroll. Ray had to leave early because she was off on exactly what time it was. =P After smoking the Shadow Dragon in Xarcabard, we made our way to Beaucedine Glacier. Halfway through the Glacier, Baosroth mentioned something about the small "castle-type" things in the Glacier. We decided to find out exactly what it was. It was Pso' Xja.

The first area we went in was a level 40 cap, so we were un-equipped and running naked around VT-IT's. Then we came upon a gate...

After passing through agate...

and more gates...

and more gates...

We came to an elevator...

After backtracking some, we ended up on the elevator finally!

Sadly, at the botton of the elevator was some magic aggro, which decided to ride the elevator up with Aidama, and poke her a few times...

We then spoke with Xenocide, who just so happened to be exploring Pso' Xja at the same time, and mentioned an area that wasn't capped.

After arriving at this area, we ran into DC-EM tonberries to a level 56. After getting myself Freeze'd by a Tonberry, we decided to rest up a bit, then move on. Kulgan decided he would run up ahead and examine the ??? mark, in which I quote Kulgan from Teamspeak, "I bet this is gonna spawn 2 NM's on me." Sure enough, 2 NM's spawn, and the door shuts behind him, leaving the 3 of us watching his HP drop. Luckily we could target / Cure through the door, which gathered enough hate to where I could attack the 2nd NM to take the load off. These NM's switched back and forth between Invincible, Chainspell, and Manafont that we know of.

After we dropped the NM's, we examined the ??? again and recieved a key item, which opens a door. After walking around some more, we came upon a treasure chest! Being all excited about seeing it, we all rush to it....but this was no ordinary Treasure Chest...

Oh noes! Treasure Chest aggro!

After defeating the Chest, we walked around some more, killed a few more NM's and got a few more key items. After dropping down another hole, we killed a tonberry, and decided to walk a few steps. Aggro was caught by a tonberry, then an EM bat...and another EM bat. Soon after Kulgan found himself at 90 HP after taking a Throat Stab from the tonberry. Then dropped from tanking one of the bats. Aidama escaped herself and I, after Baos fell as well.

Aidama and I made our way back to Pso' Xja for some raising, and after some elite Tractoring, we got Kulgan and Baos back without having to release and lose mad exp!

Just thought I'd share some stuff, because it was a fun night of exploring!

Nice screenshots. Remember your way to that elevator, it is an important location along the way when completing your CoP missions. I won't give out any spoilers, but be prepared for a very challenging fight.

the uncapped area that I had told them is the first tower coming from the Pass entrance. The tower near the Batallia Downs entrance is 60 capped and contains DC/EM gobs(one nailed me with a 528 gob bomb but killed itself as well). I didn't go as far in as I would have liked since I left my Tonko Powders and Silent Oils in my MH.

The uncapped section we went in was close to the Rangemount(sp?) Pass zone. It's got quite a few tonberry's and aggro bats, along with the aggro treasure chests. There's quite a bit of magic aggro in the deeper parts so keep that in mind. S-E designed this to be a nice little maze-puzzle. There's all kinds of interesting turns and twists that you have to think about to get through.

Btw, Celestia is the narrator for this little story so in case any of you were thinking, Kulgan doesn't refer to himself in the third person. =P

Something I've read but have not tested:

chests in pso'xja appear green on the radar if they're mimics. If they aren't mimic, they have no dot on the radar

Me and my friends the "Bootyknights" ^^ decided to have an adventure there ourselves.

This is a picture of one of the outcomes to reaching the final elevator to the avatar door:
