Help with Rank 4 & 5 [Can I have it?]Follow

Shameless, shameless bump. I'll be /shouting for help in Jeuno tonight & tommorow night, so the faster someone helps the faster I stop shouting. :)

I'm gonna be busy 'til Sunday, but if you still need a hand by then, I'd love to help out. ^-^ Just look for me online and send me a tell!

to Jmigrain: I'll let you know if/when something takes off. I'll do what I can to allow for travel time to/from Jeuno if you're out and about if/when something takes off.

Well, Friday night has come & gone, and still no Rank 4.

I'm gonna go out on a limb & just say that I'll be sitting in Port Jeuno at 9:00 p.m. EST if anybody wants to drop by & do a Delkfutt's run for Rank 4; I already have a stack of Silent Oils and a stack of that Prism Powder.

Please note that even though that time is subject to change, I'll do my best to stick to it. I'll send a few tells a little before then to the folks on this list who want rank 4, and if any want rank 5...we can work it out then.

Just an update, I'm still planning on a 9:00 p.m. EST meeting time for a Delkfutt's run to pay Porphyrion a visit. If there are any late-night players (from midnight-4:00 a.m. EST), we can see about a Rank 5 spree then.

Oh, and speaking of Rank 5 I have a somewhat crazy idea, so I would like to know if this is feasible:

Rank 5, on the fly

Set Home Point in Jeuno, get busy-work done first (for access to the inner dungeon sanctums)
Choco to Castle O, take care of business there
Teleport-Dem, choco to Beadeaux to beat NMs
Warp back to Jeuno via D2 or warp equipment or scrolls
Tele-Dem, again, choco back to Beadeaux to pick up Magicite
Teleport-Holla, choco to Davoi, get Magicite, and warp back to Jeuno.

Is this feasible or am I simply crazy?

Thanks to the wonderful (and rather powerful) Kulganflame, I'm now rank 4.

I have all the Jeuno stuff taken care of to begin the actual Magicite trips for Rank 5, so I had a slightly different plan in mind for that:

1. Either I could set something up for Friday night (since that's usually best) for an alliance or something to do all three, or

2. Someone could help me do the Beadeaux part, another person help with the Castle O part, and I solo the Davoi part (with whm). Details for each trip are worked out individually as time & chance permit.

I'd actually prefer #2, but it's up to any who want to volunteer to help. I have a friend, Rubix the thief, who may be accompanying us on some of the trips.

I'll see if I can, but until Thursday my play times will be very late at night. I'm gonna try to gain a few levels and then work on the Magicite stuff. :)

And yeah, the Delkfutt run, minus a few little hiccups, did go very well. I sat there with a big dumb grin on my face when I saw Guillotine go off. :) And as for the aggro--(and thank you for the compliment, it's too kind)--that comes from learning how to sneak through Castle Zvahl and Ro'Maeve as a level 25 White Mage. ^^

Well, with the help of some passers-by in Beadeaux, I was able to finish all three Magicite trips last night. :D

Beadeaux, round one: High level RDM took out Go'Bhu Gascon, and a high-level NIN took out De'Vyu Headhunter (or whatever his name was). Warp to Jeuno.

Beadeaux, round two: Magicite, and a cutscene. Impressive! Raogrimm seemed like such a good guy.

Davoi, round one: took a wrong turn (not sure where to go), caught aggro from some nasty lizard, warped back to Jeuno. Lesson learned; study directons better.

Davoi, round two: flawless. Even better cutscene. But who killed Francmage?

Castle O, round one: Caught aggro at the door as my 29 whm, warped back to Jeuno with 100 hp left. Switched back to 43 Bard to avoid aggro at the door. Flawless trp to Altar room, and the coolest cutscene of all three. Whatever Ajido was using...

/em wants. Badly.
