OK.. so I am wanting a mannquin body... have been checking bazaars in Jueno.. and have not seen one for sell when I look. I have been perusing the sites looking for best place to get one.. and reading up on the BCNMs.. allkhazam doesnt really make a mention of drops.. mystery tour does.. anyway.. wondering if 1. anyone has one for sale.. or 2. the best BCNM to do to get it to drop?
Garrisons don't drop bodies, only legs and feet. Tren, I'm in the market for a mannequin head myself. If you want to try some BCNM20's to get one to drop, I'd be happy to go with you - I've been trying to organize this myself with little luck for quite some time now.
I've been trying to get a mannequin body for 6 months. Good luck on that. If you look in the history of this forum, I already have two threads asking for one. :P

So... Correct me if I'm wrong: Once you get all manequinn parts, you put them all together, and then you use it as a display on your MogHouse.
So we spend 6 months of our lives collecting parts just to have 1 less storage space? Or does it actually provide any good Moghancements?

It actually provies 7 Storage, and is a neat addition to the Mog House imho, cause it has no restrictions as far as what job you need to be to equip it with. So really, you could mix and match your AF pieces! (If you're like me and want more then one AF job)
The hardest part to obtain is the body, the other pieces are more common drops, but the body drops from BCNMs that aren't popular due to their insane difficulty. If you get a Mannequin Body, then getting the other pieces is fairly simple.

a couple weeks ago.. saw a manny body in a bazaar.. but was super overpriced.. I am definately going to give crustacean BCNM a few tries..luckily since its a 20.. i have enough orbs to give it a go.

I could possibly deck out my NIN for some BCNMing, but I don't know a whole lot about the 20 crab one...
basically the 20 one ..from what i read.. success depends on the success of the BST charming one of the crabbies and sicking it on the other.. other than that.. I hear it is darn near impossible. .. definatley wanna try it though..

No, don't use BSTs for Crab Conundrum. The trick is to have the BLM either sleep or the RDM Gravity the NM crab while the two ninja's work on the minion crabs. Each attack on the crab only deals 1 dmg (sometimes 2, but almost always one) and he attacks slow enough that the two ninja's can ping pong provoke. The crab minions have 40 hp each. The thing is that the crabs all have blood weapon on their attacks, so if they hit you, then you will be backtracking on your success.
I've also been intrested in a manequin I have no parts for it yet though :( I do however have an orb for lvl 20,30, and 40 bcnm If anyone wants to plain out one that might be sucessfull let me know ^_^
Just as a side note, a few people I know wanted to go BCNMing for Mannequin parts so we tried Toadal Recall (30 cap).
Our first try we wiped but after some party reconfiguration we beat it easily 5 more times, but out of those 5 times we only got one pair of Mannequin Hands.
I don't know if we were extremely unlucky or if the drop rate is pitiful, but if you're really wanting Mannequin parts, Toadal Recall might not be the best BCNM to try.
It is a fun one though ^^
