Reading so many .. I am quitting b/c or I hate this.. just thought I would jump for joy hehe.. I am lvl 58 Monk, so have been dreading my Beaudaux coffer.. heard horror stories how awful the key drop was, and how hard the mobs were that dropped it..

Well.. I went with me, a level 56 Pally (Grandcross) and lvl 73 BLM (Relmragnarock), and a geesh. i forgot.. (Neovision)

Anyway.. we get to the spot.. and Neo pulls a mob (ok two but who is counting) one gets put nicely to sleep.. and we actually do struggle a bit but kill the first one..and what do you know.. he drops a coffer key! First kill! got key.

Anyway.. I heard that the coffer is easy to find once you get the key.. i had two stacks of silent oil and began searching.. it wasnt 'waiting for me' thats for sure.. my buds warped out and left me for my search.. Searched and searched a bit.. t hen competition showed its face.. a WHM with a high level friend were searching now as well..both mages, with unlimited sneaks.. I felt a little outgunned.. BUT lo and behold I came across the coffer before they did, opened.. (got KOd immediately thereafter..but who cares) and got my next to last piece of AF armor. Hurray!

Anyway.. A big thank you to Relm, GC,and Neo for their thankfully short, but imperative help. By me not being in a linkshell with higher level people, it makes it very difficult to find help on such things and I do truly, TRULY appreciate it. Speaking of LS, I am in the market to join one with other at or above my level..

Anyway, thanks again, for a very fun, positive, and rewarding evening.

Now off to hunt for a horror head.

Grandcross is in my LS and I've known Relm in this game for quite some time now. They are both really good people ^^
