Hmmm. Ok Apollo, maybe this will work out. I'll try to be online a little before 10:00 and see who all I can russle up. If you get more people though, let me know. I don't think you want to end up with 13+ people :-)

Thanks again for getting this together!

hehehe Hogo,

definetly don't want more than 12 people... it'll be hard enough to manage two parties as it is! haha :-)

See you tomorrow!

Sky and Moon are areas that one may not enter until after certain requirements have been met. The requirements for access to Sky is finishing certain Zilart missions.

Hope that helps!

blergh!

I'm sorry guys, I had a family emergency this morning, my 18-month old had a severe ear infection and i had to take her to the ER... ;;

I'm going to logon to the game now and see what happened to everybody, I am hoping you were able to go without me.

If not, we can try and reschedule our marathon for another weeked.

I'm sorry again, guys.

Goodluck lol. Watch out for Arch Duke, he can reset hate and go after the healers. He also got a nasty WS called Lightsaber, which does instant 1000+ damage to even PLD. He lightSaber'd me for 1400 damage.

Just some tips:
Lightsaber is slow. If you have PLD as tank, starts curing yourself when you see the move. By the time it finishs your HP is back from curing.
Bring Echo drops I think it does silence.. dont remember..
Also bring a melee with war sub(drg/war). When main tank is down for provoke/flash the melee can back up tank after hate reset.
Bring echo drop its important.

Overall its an easy battle, dont get too stress out.

Well, I ended up getting ZM4 done last night with Raevin, Vacent, Daive, Zylador, and Assassin. It was exciting, scary, and mind-numbing (we finished by almost 2-3am and I was soo zoned out).

What happened on our adventure involved first getting hate reset quest started for a couple of our fighters. (Poor Raevin, our monk had the highest hate to reset ^^)

We had no idea what to do really, but with Daive and his extra PC handy, plus his incredible leadership skills, we were making our way in and through to the Maledictors to get ourselves some unlit lanterns. Sneaking and Invising were crazy, but we got through (after getting just a teensy bit lost, mostly I was the one getting lost or left behind ^^).

So we finally get to the Maledictors. Only two or three spawn at a time. The funny thing was, our puller was Daive! Our beloved leader and whm, especially since he was the only one who could safely sneak and invis himself and run around without getting majorly lost. We wait... hours. A couple drop. I even had to politely ask one Maledictor to give us his unlit lantern (he graciously cooperated, but another one saw what happened, told the others, and they became incorrigable). When we were about to lose hope for the last lantern, lo and behold, the JP party next to us invite us into an alliance and hand us the unlit lantern. Hurray!

So we make our way back to pick up an Uggalepih key from the Cutters on the first floor. Running around like crazy, we clear the area and still no key! Then we head into this room, with two dead people. Locian and Sedda!! Poor guys... We raised them, and they told us our plight. It became a "You scratch our backs, and we'll scratch yours" situation. They had a thief who needed an NM killed and needed a bit of help. In return the thief would help us get our key. We agreed ^^

We kill that NM. (It was fun: Death from Above!!) They join us. On the first Cutter we fight together, the key drops!! We say our goodbyes and race our way to the room with the paintings. (After getting lost again ^^) But not before beating up a Temple Guardian and getting more tonberry fun agro ^^

So, there we are, trying to figure out how to get the door to open. We stand around, Daive and I trying to make sense of the Guide of Lies we've had to find to get us through. Raevin tries too (He picked up a key and turned it into a paintbrush key as well). We're standing, silent... it's around 12am, I'm falling asleep...I nod off.... and then I hear a <call>! (Good thing I had my speakers on) I open my eyes and rush into the door!! Oh no!! Assassin hasn't woken up O.O Our Dragoon is still standing there. Daive, stands next to him, waiting for him to go in. <call> <call> <call> Nothing!! The doors start to close. They're on the other side still!! The tonberries are respawning. Are they doomed?! No! Daive is quick on his feet (That's why he's leader) He restarts the key after putting the tonberry to sleep (I think) And moments later, our Dragoon and Whm are safely back with us. (Breathe sigh of relief here or do we?...) Trailing after Daive is a whole train of tonberries!! "Zone!!" came the running reply! We run away straight into the Den of Rancor.

Phew... what an adventure, and we still weren't done. Making our way to the Altar of Rancor, we find ourselves faced with two bomb-type monsters. Contemplating whether or not we should try to fight them one at a time, they come racing after Daive and we're forced to fight them both ^^ After a harrowing moment of fighting (and explosions) we actually live! (Stoneskin + Phalanx, how I love thee, let me count the ways you've saved me...) We grab our Rancor Flames and try to make our way to the lanterns. Agro!! Left and right, we're racing, trying to get there. Zylador almost gets lost. We light the lanterns quickly. FLARE!! Run through gate!! HURRY! It hits Daive! He's got 100+ hp left and we're zooming our way to zone. WE MADE IT! *gasp gasp*

We're almost done with our adventure. Now comes our shining moment. We all med up, get psyched and make our way in. Till we realize the Paladin can't get in ^^ Zoning out, we finally get him able to target and enter. Here we go. This is our big moment. I take the summoner tonberry, Zylador has the blm, the rest beat up the thf. I'm sleeping, buffing, silencing. It's crazy. It's kewl. (Why didn't I take screenshots?!) Minutes pass... we're getting 2-houred. Benediction! Final blows!! WE DID IT!! We are victorious!! After an informative cut scene, we finally make our way back to celebrate, tired, but happy.

And so goes our adventure for Zilart Mission 4.

LOL, and that's nothing compared to ZM5 that we did last night... We had to do lightning twice because two people missed getting the crystal after the fight, someone forgot to get ice and had to go back there... And then we had the horrible trek through Ifrit's Cauldron... At least ZM5 is over now for us!

UPDATE

We just got pwned three times by the Archduke. Morale is failing but hope is on the horizon. Cheer us on folks, cause those three deaths were painful, but we won't give up! We won't surrender!! We won't forget how crappy it feels to have a pile of dead teammates die on top of you when the timer runs out ^^
