I could use G2, I might not be on till a little later though, I have my Vazhl crystal, so maybe I could hop a tele and catch up with you guys, depending on when I can get on.
ok, but by the responce of this thread though it doesnt look promising i may do some Noob Shouts in Jeuno but if i cant get a party/alliance together i will just have to try again another day

I'd like to get in on the Saturday run.
And grats to Machtaru and Wintaru, who I noticed are getting it done today. Right now, they should be finishing/just finished the last frigicite (I have some LS members in the group, but I logged on too late to join the alliance).

Ok, I participated in Genkai 2 on Saturday with Yekan and company. I had fun, and am glad to have it over with. All in all, it's not that tough of a thing to do. We had some higher levels help out with the tanking, healing, and damage. I'd like to see an alliance of all 55s pull it off just as easily. ^^

To anyone doing Genkai2 in the future, just a few tips to help future people out:
- Flag the quest. Double check that you have it flagged. Maat will ask for 3 pieces of fragicite if you have it flagged.
- Get the Vahzl gate crystal. I can't say much about doing this, except that if you have 17 people that have it, and you don't, you may find a group that isn't willing to wait for you. ( There just aren't enough cool mobs to kill at the crystal while waiting. :p )
- Know the locations of all 3 NMs. We only had one or two people in our group that did. I wasn't one of the two. =(
- Silent Oils, Prism Powders, Sneak, Invis... etc. If you can't cast it on yourself, you should bring a stack of each of the powders. This is a good idea for almost all group events, including parties.
- Stick together. Stragglers get aggro and die. Appoint a leader and listen to them.
Those are just some simple things that make it easier on you, and everyone else. =)
This is one of the first experiences where a little organization and preperation can save everyone *lots* of time.
All in all, it's fun to do stuff like this, but it always stings when someone dies, someone has to log due to it taking too much time, etc.

Yes Namari's advice is correct! The crystal is very important! We had three people who didn't have the crystal so they had to walk, and got lost and I had to run back and get them. It was humerous but it made the event take about an hour longer than it should. Although the others were good sports and fought random mobs around the Vhazl crystal while we waited. We had a high level ranger and dark help us out while a 55 pld tanked the mobs. It was hard to keep hate on the pld though with the ranger using barrage and all their other cool abilities.
In all I believe we were rather organized and it was a success. We only had one person die because they DCed at the end of the fight and one of the NMs respawned. But other than that it went rather well and we can all level on now. ^^

I can't stress this one enough, this is why I still don't have this done yet.
Coupled with Guivre owning my PT in Kuftal and as a result me deleveling to 52, I pretty much quit playing for the weekend. Machtaru, you were lucky to leave when you did, as soon as the new RDM showed Guivre popped and killed us all.
So anyway, I'll probably be looking for another G2 party possibly Sunday >.< I have the quest flagged now.
Yeah we had someone forget to flag the quest on our run, but thanks to warp and teleports we got her back in the time it took for weakness to wear off. We had to fight the NM again anyway so it all worked out.
Sorry about your Guivre encounter though. Many a times has he feasted on us, it has to end! /fume Good luck on finding another party to go. :)

2 of my LS members were there and they were telling me about that they said like 3min after i logged it spawned and killed about 40 people there. I am sorry about that
Btw how was the RDM after i left. I Hope i did our party well. I pride myself on doing my job properly and efficiently.
