I need to make about 10k but i get my money by going to the pal mines and killing Quadavs for the small amount of gil they drop. Can someone please tell me a better way to make cash?
Kill the Amethyst Quadav there and keep the backplates go to sandy and sell the backplates for 1k on Ah a peice. I can get about 30 backplates in 30 mins there.

what lvl are you when you go farm the Amethyst Quadavs?
40 DRK/THF or 30 THF/WAR.
They spawn only on the first floor, just run arround the first floor looking for them. 3 of them spawn on the BIG stairs leading up to the second floor.

#1 priority for you would be to level THF to 15 and sub it to your lvl 30 WAR.
Then at your level the safest and most efficient place to farm is Taronghi Canyon near Windurst.
Bees = Beehives Chips
Pygmaoi = Sarutu Cotton
Saplings = Seeds (and if you think seeds aren't worth much, check the AH for stacks of 12)
Dhalmels = Dhalmel Hides and Giant Femurs
Crawlers = Silk Thread
Elementals = Specifically Air Elements
You can also "Steal" the cotton from Pygmaoi and Silver Beastcoins from Yagudo Persecutors and Pipers quite easily with your THF sub. The key here is to get your THF sub to 15 for Treasurehunter. Without a THF subbed, farming can become very tedious and non-productive.
