I've gotten lots of requests to help people do this, so I figure I'll just pick a time to do it each week and stick to it.

Escort for Hire - Bastok
Tuesdays @ 8pm EST

Requirements:
- Start the quest >> Trilok - Steaming Sheep - Port Bastok
- Notify me that you wish to attend one hour before 8pm, so starting at 7pm EST.
- Make sure that you can navigate through all parts of Crawlers' Nest without gaining aggro. The only person I should have to worry about is Olavia.
- Be outside Crawlers' Nest ready to go at 8pm EST.

Procedure:
Pretty much follow me. I have seen all three routes and can do it on my own now. If there are monsters that I feel need to be killed to make things easier, I will say. Otherwise, don't engage monsters unless I say so ^^

Reward:
Upon receiving your Certificate of Completion (key item) and returning it to Trilok, you will receive 10000 gil on your first trip. On every trip (including the first one), you will receive a page of Miratete's Memoirs. This page will grant you roughly 800-1500 xp into any job you want to place it towards over level 20.

two questions:
1) which quest is this? I'd like to do some research so i know what you're talking about
2) Is level 50 too low to do this? cause I know im still gonna get aggro from Exo's and beetles and such.

Byaina - From what I understand, a recent patch made it so you can cancel an escort quest that you have accepted. I would try talking to the person who you already have escort for, and seeing if this clears it up. If not, then I don't know :( However, if this becomes popular, I would like to do a round in the other two areas at least once :)

Teets - 1) It's called Escort for Hire, silly! :)
2) What I mean by the statement is that if you know you are going to aggro monsters in Crawlers' Nest, then you should provide your own means of preventing that. Sneak Oils, Prism Powders pretty much, or a WHM sub, or a good friend. Time we spend on people who aggro monsters is time lost for the mission. There is a 30 minute time limit, and usually solo I can get it done in 10-15 minutes. My biggest pet peeve are people who are not professional about getting quests done quickly when there is plenty of information on preparation. Fortunately, if I know where she is going, I can tell others in the alliance to run ahead. We don't all have to travel and follow Olavia together, we just need to all be there when she crosses the finish line.

I'd love to join in, then. :) Will level 62-63 be good enough to get through most of the area without aggro? I haven't been back to CN in ages and ages... I'll bring silents and prisms, naturally.

I am Level 40 but i can bring silent oils and powders with me. Could you give me a amount of each i should bring?

Correct.

As far as prism powders and sneak oils, if you don't have any at all, do yourself a favor and just buy one stack of each. You won't need to use all of them for escort, probably only a couple of sneak oils and powders, but since those are a commodity you'll probably always need, you should just keep the extras in your mog safe when you need them in the future, or if you decide to do another escort ^^

Anyone 50+ should just sub WHM if it's at least level 25. One of her routes goes through a helm beetle area.
