I hear ya Vim, I got lucky and an LS mate who was quitting bought me a Light Staff (Thank you Hiest, wherever you are ^^), so I'm saving for a Dark Staff and Erase. I figure I'm to the point where I should have it so I plan on leveling to 51 just to try out my staff then I'll be farming for a while.
Might try getting SMN to 25 now, and see what having Auto Regen and Auto Refresh is like ^^

Bought an earth staff.
Bought Wizard's earring.
Finally got to use the gold sword.
That's about it.

Sadly yes, he had to leave us *sniff* I knew him from the beta test. I came across him in Tahrongi and he needed help finding Windy (was coming from Sandoria) and I guided him back. Then out of chance we end up in the same server on the same LS ^^
What a great guy, he will be missed. Said he'll be keeping the account active though, so maybe he'll return to us one day 8P

Aww that stinks! Sorry to overtake this thread but I just wasn't aware. We weren't friends but we always ran into each other and would wave. One day in Garliage Citadel he was trying to force me to buy his pies and ever since then I would run into him all the time. (He ended up giving me free apple pies that day, great guy!) But yes back to the weekends events..sorry!
Leveled RNG to 40 and NIN to 20 (just give me 37 please?), also took part in all of the Promyvions (well, that was in the latter part of last week, but it still counts!) and won, went to Tavnazian Safehold, got raped in Misereaux Coast by a Bugard, got fishing to 19, and participated in my first set of BCNM's ever after getting lost in Palborough for about half an hour. Submitted my friend's application for a wedding, of which I'm the chaperone. Bought my Garish set to wear at the wedding (hey, a RNG has to look pimp at special events, yeah?) and just in general induged myself in wasting a bit of gil from my Strider Boots fund.
Oh, and finally got my Marksman's Ring for a decent price.
