I meant to mention this:

We will wait from 5-8 that's 3 hrs to get everyone there and organized. If we don't have enough people, we'll either look for pickups, or postpone. Only because if we don't do this tonight I have other things I really kinda should. >_> Let's just hope we have a good turnout. :/

Again I'll be on around 6. Come to Ru'Lude and harass Maat for awhile. You know you wanna. We'll form the alliance back there.

5-8? wow that is a lot of time to be sitting around the garden. I definitely wasn't planning on starting at 8

First let me say thank you to everyone that came. It was a rough battle at the end for the 2 groups that went, and not everyone made it. I regret that we didn’t finish this with everyone, but on the other hand, I am glad we didn’t come away totally empty handed.
Six of us finished in a very close fight on our last attempt.

Recap-
Our trip up to the fourth level went fairly smooth. On the last MR we lost 2 people had to fight the MR over again. Eventually we made it to the castle- where the hard part begins.

My group went in first and, let’s just say, we didn’t make it. We lost a tank and it went downhill from there. So the first attempt was a failure. We all disconnected, and got spit out in the prep room.

Group two went in, and my group waited hoping they would succeed where we didn’t, but unfortunately their white mage came out barely alive followed the corpses. Someone in the other group ended up leaving, so they were now short a person.

On a side note, it is hard to describe the experience of a full group getting spit out of the BCNM. It basically rains their corpses in the middle of the room as they all make their death sound together…. Freaky.

My group got ready for a second try. We entered, and it went so smoothly at first. Then all of the sudden I got hit for 305 damage and was down. Our ninja accidentally 2houred and well, it was only a matter of time.

After this we debated trying again. We had 10 people and room for 6. It was difficult, but we tried to make the best party. I am very happy how everyone acted. I could tell everyone truly wanted someone to win tonight and those that graciously stepped down have a lot of character. Don’t worry, we’ll get yours done too.

So here starts battle 3. war/nin war/nin rng/nin thf/nin whm/blm blm/whm. We did the last battle and it was going very smoothly at first. We lost a tank a little over half way, but everyone stayed cool, and we pulled it off. We were all a little shocked I think. I am sure everyone went in expecting to die, but we made it. As for myself, that makes me 1/4 with Promyvion Holla. It has been a rough ride. Make sure to bring a sense of humor and 14 rangers, and you’ll be fine.

It really sucks how the SMN had to leave and the other RNG didn't come back from d/c'ing. -.-

But yeah, we need to do this again with people who have the time and won't leave without warning! :D And with the animas!

I think we should maybe bring some spare members in a third party who've already completed the Promyvion, in case someone has to leave or bes stupid. Preferably at least one RNG, tank, and healer. :D

I would like to do this sometime, but I need to do one of the following:
1) get whm to 30 and blm to 15
2) get smn to 30 and whm to 15
3) unlock nin, get norg fame, do utsusemi quest, then level it to 15

I'm thinking about getting whm to 30. I don't have enough money/fame for smn and nin.

OK I got the Anima. It's called Terroanima. The description says

The essence of this partially materialized quasispirit has been enhanced.

It's Rare/EX and it's vial, and apparently useable (its name is yellow).

So I have the Anima ready to go if we do it again sometime.

Seraphim:

One of my friends and I built a strategy for the Promyvion - Mea BC fight specifically for Anima. Here's a brief timeline. (The party set-up should be PLD PLD RNG RNG RNG WHM; up to 2 of the RNG can be taken out for BLM if needed.)

• PLD start the fight aletrnating vokes on every 15 seconds, with BLM and RNG setting an easy pace in nuking/shooting.

• On the first time the boss AoE's, the first PLD should 2hr, and the WHM should Curaga.

• On the second AoE, the mob should be near 50%, and the second PLD should 2hr and the WHM should 2hr. At that point, pop the Teroanima and have the BLMs and RNGs go nuts. Manafont and Flaming arrows, Barrages, and EESs all the way until that thing is dead.

Credit goes to Henge on the strategy, I was just the guinea pig that tested it out. Also, the Anima used for us was a Hysteroanima, so yours may have slightly different effects. You might want to get a high-level Alchemist to synth some of the tradeable memories into elemental Animas for the BC fight as well.

It should aslo be noted that in my first time through all of them, my parties got to the BC fight with just 7 people, and when the portals stayed open for 1 minute. It can be done, you just have to have a THF or PLD willing to 2hr and die on the third floor. We also won the BC fight on the first try due to good planning. You need to know when to 2hr and when to use every ability you have.

Thanks for that. I need to get more money for our next time. It really wiped me out. After two elemental staves and level 50 armor, my funds took a major plunge. >.<

Isn't the Promyvion-Dem BCNM the one that steals buffs off of whoever has hate? And likes to lick you, destroying shadows in the process?

Well if we planned on doing another one this weekend, I'll tell you now, Friday isn't going to work with me. And Saturday won't til late, if at all. Which of course doesn't mean you guys have to wait on me. :p I'm just saying.

Hopefully things'll go smoother this time...

So. If we do plan on going this weekend, what day/time? Information is a useful, fun thing. :D

We completed Holla with 12 people, but lost people at the boss fight. If we do Dem next, we should balance ahead of time. We waited in Jeuno for 3 hrs last time because people either didn't show up and we had to pickup some members.

I don't know if I can do it this weekend or not, but Friday will NOT work for me, as I've said. Saturday & Sunday nights may be ok though. Midterms are around the corner though -_-
