What if we make this a LS event?

Put your LS up against other LS's?? maybe people might like that challenge a little more?
I don't know :(

I don't either. People appear to have already forgotten about us.

Maybe we should make a new topic for the scavenger hunts? People who aren't interested in the races, but may be interested in a scavenger hunt would look this topic over thinking it's just about the race? ;x

Here's a big d'oh from me.

I forgot about this today, but it looks like everyone hates us now, and no one even comes in to say "that sounds like fun, but I'm busy." No one even comes in here and says what they really think "this idea is terrible, you should all die."

The only way I think we could advertise is by making a new thread, with another catchy and funny name, shouting in Jeuno or elsewhere, and tell our LSes.

Unfortunately, now it seems that now people don't want to have fun, unless that fun involves earning them vast amounts of gil.

Basically, I think a way to get more people involved is to make a larger prize. Sadly.

I think you're right ; ;

Some of us ponied up our own money to make the pots bigger for the first few races but I cant afford to do that anymore :( I have to save up for my staves.

And yes it would be nice to have some feedback as to whether this is a great idea or whether this is the worst thing anyone has ever come up with..

Anyone?

Again, I think people have pretty much forgotten about us. New thread? Anyone? Apparently I'm no good at making catchy titles so if someone else wants to....

Guys I have to say a big sorry to you all. I would have been all in to this but when I started school up I hardly had time to play the gaem at all and when I do have time I like to get stuff done. I can't really waste the few days that I have on to race or I would. Sorry...

There are certain factors we cant control, such as the committee members who dont like to show up or do their part to help with the recruitment of participants :/

Last event I stooped to actually /shouting in town for people to join.

/hangs her head in shame.

I think we may need to rethink the way we find participants, there has to be a better way of doing this.
That being said, I still think this was a great idea Byaina and I dont want to see it just disappear ; ;

Maybe each of us can be assigned to one town an hour or so before the race? and we'll get as many people as we can from each town? I don't know I'm running out of ideas ; ;

its not there's the one on killingifrit (?) and maybe even one on ffxiplayers.com, I personally dont think I can handle updating numerous threads on different pages though. Maybe we can all take one forum and keep that thread updated?

Started a new thread here to ask wtf happened. I'm all for invading other forums, but I personally am not going to touch killingifrit. ;P Just my personal preference. If someone else will volunteer for it, teh rad...

If someone wants to organize and/or run this this weekend, please do! I will be out of town or I would get the ball rolling myself. Let's give all those people who took a Moronathon pearl something to look forward to!

Omg! Bumped!
So yeah, my newly-formed-and-not-started-as-of-yet static party had a meeting today to discuss times and all that jazz. Afterwards, while we were thinking of something fun to do afterwards, the idea of a level one race came up again. XD We went from Windy->Jeuno->Sandy, I died about 4 feet from the start on the FIRST YAG! And then, somehow, caught up and won the race, despite the fact that Aburame, the second-place winner(although he thinks it was a tie XD), didn't die once(though he stayed at a constant 10-HP).
Anyway, the static was thinking of sponsoring Moronathons until we start using our Sunday time slot for BCNM's and such. :)
We have yet to decide on a prize as of yet, but we're planning on the next one being this Sunday(November 28th?) at 2:30pm EST(3:30CST, 2:30PST). The planned route is... ah crap I forget. Naeo shall fill us in on the route later. Anyway, be at the starting place for 2 if you plan on attending. :) Hoping for a big turnout! We should have a guaranteed turnout of at least 4 or 5 from the static members alone. :D More would be awesome. Rules are... Posted somewhere in here?

I updated the LSmes with the results of the last race. Naeo and Kerai also got pearls and need updating to sacks. ^^;

Actually, my brother brought this up to UnchainedSpirits on our massage board and those of us that knew about it jumped on the idea. So if you get this thing organized, tell Ishido about it and he'll inform our LS so we can gather the troops for it.
