So...Kahan's thinking of coming back...Follow

I welcome back anybody from the good ole' days with open arms! :)

As for the lower levels and what not: They sucked before and still suck. The parties I've been, for the most part, need a tank. Tanks are very hard to come by. So, if you do come back, that'd prolly be a good start. ^^

If you do come back, look me up. I'll be more than happy to help you get subjob items and maybe level one of my lowbie jobs for a bit. God knows I have enough of them. >.<

I started another toon tonight. A Galka Monk named Anslem. I am going to try and see if I can recover Kahan on Monday. I didn't delete the toon just let the account lapse. Hopefully I can get it back even though it's been like a year. lol Don't know if I am going to play my whm or blm again. Lost all the good gear for those two and don't know if I want to spend the next year trying to get it all back. =P

At least I only lost a couple pieces of my Sam gear when I was hacked. Won't be too hard to make the money to get it all back. Hell, I may have enough gil on me if I can get the toon back. I had a few million from back when everything was inflated like crazy. May be enough to get everything back now. lol

If I can't get it back it looks like Anslem will be the new toon. Going to level the SAM up again on this one and leave it at that for now. =P

Heh. Well glad to have you back for however long and whenever you play. lol

If you have any Monk/Sam/Thf gear it would be appreciated. Leveling monk through subjob quest level, then thief to 37 and then off to level the Sam all over again. =P

Awesome. Glad to hear it Garan. I am trying to get Kahan back as we speak, but if I can't I will be rolling around on Anslem. Apparently Kahan got re-hacked even after I cancelled the account. That was back in december or so and I see AH history for him from June. Weird. That is the only month that has history. Go figure.

So tell everyone that if they get a friend invite from him to accept. lol I found out about gazoo and galkus from Orcrist. Glad to see that a few more of you are still around.

Hey Bal. Good to hear from you. I just got off the phone with SE and will hopefully be getting my account back. I have to fill out the whole notary form and such but it's looking promising. ^^

What class are you going? I played almost all of the destruction classes through level 10-12ish and have decided that I am going witch elf. I have just too much fun lighting some casters up in RvR. lol

How is WoW treating you? Everytime I look at it in the store I cringe at the graphics...

What's it got over FFXI and what's FFXI got over WoW?

The only reason I even tried it was because a player who I enjoyed playing FFXI with was playing it (Triantus) so I decided to go give it a shot. It wasn't very fun leveling summoner anyway. After 3 level 75s in FFXI and 5 years invested, it was very hard to quit. It was the only thing I knew how to do in my downtime.

WoW is good.. so far. Actually, it took me a long time to get used to it over the FFXI frame of mind. It isn't as much of a time sink as FFXI (except for grinding for faction reputation and honor for epic gear). You get to meet new people. Your character is super powerful when you get to the higher levels. I'm not huge into PvP, but I play on a PvP server so I know how to defend myself well against some peeps. :P

The only things that FFXI has over WoW is... well.. its FFXI and we've all played it for like 5 years lol. It's tough to break a habit like that, but when you finally kick it.. man does it feel good. I like having a new addiction. :D Also, WoW has ALOT more people that play it, so with alot more people, come alot more young people. There are alot more "kids" being "kids" in this game than there was in FFXI. You learn to weed them out quickly though.
