Look, not to flame here, but this is just incorrect. At least I know it is at my level. The amount of time it takes to get a party together, and get to camp can sometimes take over an hour.
If I joined a party, at my level, I'd be heading to the Valley of Sorrows, which although not a very far walk, can be time consuming, especially if mages need to sneak everyone.
If we arrive at camp, are ready to start exping, and someone asks me to perform in a way that I would consider outside the effective function of what I am typically doing, I wouldn't just "leave". It's not really that simple, and I would be quite angry with someone who just packed up and left without discussing alternative solutions and looking for a good compromise.
