And why is ONE person reporting a picture reason enough to make it disappear, shouldn't it work like the karma system? If the pictures gets rated to sub-default it erases, depending on the filters, etc.
If that were the case, then shouldn't we just let the regular filters take care of it? Why have a separate "reporting" system for images if rating someone below the filter should basically remove it anyway?
Seen that way...makes sense too.

Short answer?

A regular anime character doesn't deserves to be erased because ONE person thought it was offensive. You really need to some sort of real system for that.

And tubgirl shouldn't have to be viewed by anyone on the site. Let alone by more than one person. Admins can override a reported image. If one of yours gets reported PM one of us and we wil review it.

It should be the other way. Reported images have to be reviewed by admins to be erased, much like offensive topics are.

I'm sorry, but that's completely backwards. People are going around removing every image they see just because they feel like it, and the posters shouldn't have to bother you about it every time to get it put back. Not to mention that there's no system preventing someone from using "tubgirl" in their avatar except telling an admin or rating them down.

Smiley: lol I don't even know what that's supposed to mean except that you have no solution and don't like me. I figured, you know, we were supposed to put feedback about things working strangely in the feedback forum.

I did think of a better idea though, along the lines of what Ikkian said. Basically you could just keep the report button but not remove things until a certain number of reports were made. But instead of "ratings" like posts, they could only be reported. That way people wouldn't "rate" things back up just to annoy people, but a single person wouldn't be able to just delete whatever they want rendering the whole ability to post images useless. Things like "tubgirl" would quickly be removed due to 3 people basically agreeing on it.

Feel free to just totally ignore useful suggestions because you have some sort of misconceptions about me being a "bad" poster though.

Its the mostly naked, pre-pubescent ones in sexual situations that are the problem.

Maybe he's talking about the sailor moon type transformations? Or maybe those... freaky ones where they squeeze some fruit and bloods squirts out and she transforms.

Ok...fixing report on images should really be something on the "to do" list please.

I'm in agreement. What's the use of having the feature if within minutes of posting an image some dork can just remove it? I assume you folks get to see who reported images, perhaps reporting could be a premium only thing and if it's abused they can have the equivalent of a no-rate. Don't know, but as it stands right now any image that is posted disappears within moments.

Exactly, we're having a picture thread and EVERY SINGLE picture gets reported.

If you really really want to force a pic to be removed when someone reports it, why not replace the pic with a link instead, have the link say something like "This picture has been reported" or something.

Also, please start repremanding people who report non offensive pics, like EVERY SINGLE PIC in this thread.

It would be handy if there was a delete button on the "Your Images" page rather than just an edit button.

Yeah how do I get rid of pics in My Images?
