It makes it harder for you to tip people over and proceed to eat them?

I've said it before and here it is again. Worried you may be getting camped? Check your account, then your posts and scan through to see if you've been rated away from your default posting score. I do it regularly to see which posts someone got butthurt by or to see which ones made others laugh/were helpful.

You're all looking at this the wrong way. So what if someone can karma camp you? If its a big enough deal to you, you're failing to see the plus side here:

You can karma camp them too. Smiley: sly Wait...I didn't mean to type that

Without a Karma number how can I be validated? How will I evaluate my self-worth? Who's gonna love me without a Karma number?

I was wondering the same thing, I don't ***** about my score, but I am interested when I see it go up/down (other than seeing the number of posts that were rated up).

If it helps the admins though and their number of complaints (I haven't seen that many, but I generally stick to the WoW boards) then I am all for their jobs being made easier. I know how much of a pita it can be being a site/forum admin.

Oh, and it is just so weird to see the FFXI sigs, I have no idea what the hell any of that NIN30 TFH63 RDM stuff means (I assume those are character/classes and their levels?)

Im not sure how much it matters or helps but i rated up everyone. biggest reason why is because Rimesume's avatar is just so damn sexy.

How are we supposed to tell admins we're being karma camped when we can't see our own karma score. [:sigh:]

At least make it able so that we can see our own karma score.

I get rated down all the time. Smiley: lol Looking at my past 50 posts won't help me find out if i've gone down .01, specially if someone decides to actually karma camp moi.

What would the admins think of imposing a limit on the number of times you could rate per day, similar to what Slashdot does with their Meta-Moderation?

Would people be less willing to karma-camp if they only had a limited number of "bullets" so to speak?

Unless I misread something Kao said in another thread, the amount of space that would take up on their servers makes it unfeasible. It would kill all of their hamsters.
