Rolling out an upgrade to the forums, there will be periodic errors as software and stylesheets get copied to all the needed systems.

Will it be permanent with the stars and post count above the avvy instead of below?

I liked it the other way around.

Edit: And the no-space between message body and signature?

Still pushing the stylesheet changes to the various sites. Some (wow) have more of the changes than others, give me a bit before I get to your concerns.

Can still only rate a post once.

Cumulative ratings now have a different effect though. (If someone gets a long strings of solid down ratings, for example)

but before you could change rating mistakes with the menu system andthe rate post button. Now it is instant karma... how do you rate if you make a mistake in choosing arrows...

The goal was to put all the information about a user in one block.

I added an extra line break on the post display.

I understand that, but the stars somehow interfere with the poster's name. Maybe the color contrast or something. I'm not sure what it is.

Some text is randomly disappearing as I'm reading it. I have to highlight it to see it, but it disappears again soon after.

The post count and post rating look kind of silly with the rate buttons like that. The rate buttons are way off to the right compared to the text. IMO it should be centered more.

If users giving feedback could specify which site they're using, that'd be quite helpful. It makes it easier to track down stylesheet issues. Thanks!

On the FFXI and LOTR versions the rate buttons look way to far to the right compared to everything else thats left aligned. Only 2 I use...\

*edit* and we need another page break after the message too, it seems the sigs are sitting too high.

Note sure if it's intentional or a glitch, but upon creating a new post one is no longer moved to the post's location in the thread, but rather to the very beginning of the thread.

I'm using the WoW style sheet in the OOT forum. And I'm running Firefox in Windows on an AMD stationary.

Ok. Using the eq site.

1. No vertical line between the poster info and the post. Yeah, that's just aesthetics, but I find it easier to follow/find the posts that way. The lines are you friend. Stay within the lines...

2. Sigs need to be bottom justified within the post box. There should also be a default minimum number of lines between the bottom of the post and the sig itself (with the bottom dropping to fit it in.

3. Don't really care about the rate button placement, but they are kinda "floating" out there. It looks like they're cenetered on the info box area, but that ends up looking icky because the names and avitards are all left justified. Either left justify the buttons, or maybe put them inside their own little box (perhaps matching the sheet backround color for contrast). Of course, if you put a box around the entire poster info area this would work much better because the viewers could *see* the borders and the placement of the rate arrows would look much much better.

4. Make it not crash so much. ;)

FFXI skin here as well, Rate buttons need to be fixed.

It seems we're also missing the seperator between posts and the user. The seperator between the "Posting from" Location and the actual post is also missing.

Some poster names look plain silly now as well, due to either having long names or long titles. "Add to Address book" and many 10k titles also take up more then 1 line now.

Here is an example of what my own post looks like: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v493/Deadgye/examplez.jpg

While everything else in a posts user info is all the way to the left, the arrows are centered, along with the margin between them and text they need to be fixed.

I really don't like the new rate up/down buttons. Now that they're just links instead of in a menu with a separate submit button I think it'll be way to easy to rate someone accidentally. The drop down list is much safer.

EQ skin.

- Page should load to the bottom when refreshing after posting. Minor, but annoying.

- Oh! And for us non-premium users, the "Network Sites" roll-over/pulldown thingie puts the first four lines of pulldown squarely behind the advertising banner.

Explain, please.

Does it have a greater effect, or a lesser effect? If greater, then you're just opening the door for chronic rate-camping to blow people's Karma into Oblivion. I've had 2+ rate campers on me for months now, and none of the Admins will ever do anything about it, and I've given up on asking them to do something about. With a 5.5k+ Post Count, I lost .15 in 2 months. That would take a LOT of rate-downs, and for awhile, every single thing I'd post, would get rated Default within 5 minutes of me posting it, even posts that had no business being rated down.

So, if you made mass rate-downs hurt even more, you're just going to cause people to rate-camp even more.

I think people are complaining about the button centering because there is no line to box it in, so it's probably centered, but appears to not be.

Bring back the lines!!!!

Oh they're centered, but they need to be moved left. The margin between them and the text around them needs to be lessened as well. My 10k title also no longer fits on 1 line.
