Quick simple question. Can we get a spell check feature implemented to the message boards? I am notorious for typos and I hate editing everything by hand looking for mistakes in my own posts when they get long. If we had a spell check feature here it wouldd ease the pain greatly.

I assume it may have already been considered but I would love it if one was introduced nonetheless.

Download and install Mozilla it is a free web browser that comes stock with a spell checker in textbox fields. Plenty of other addons such as adblocker as well. Definately superior to IE.

100% agree. It's what I use and keeps my spelling in tact. You'll notice a different in my writing preFirfox 2.0. Smiley: laugh

I'm not spelling bee, but with FireFox, even I could pass for remotely intelligent!

Yeah, I love Firefox's spellcheck. Hey, "spellcheck" fails spellcheck. Hah.

I'd rather just have people use that than slow everything down with some javascript crap =(

On mine, it usually underlines anything questionable in red, just like any other spellcheck Imp. You can also right click and select field for checking.

And I must take this moment to point out that Rimey is all hot and junk when he is disgruntled. Dana is pretty not too shabby, as well when he is disagreeable. DANG! Its gonna be a good day!

Is there a way to get the spellcheck thing on Firefox 1.5? I hate 2.0 mainly because the red X isn't to the left of the tabs anymore, it's on the tabs.

i always use the mouse scroll wheel click to open a link in a new tab, and close the tab by clicking anywhere on the tab.

is it on the right or left? i don't remember anymore. you can set it to be on the right if want. type in "about:config" in the address bar and navigate to browser.tabs.closeButtons (you can filter by "closebuttons" to get there quick) and enter 3 to have the X on the right. 0 puts it on active tab only, 1 on all tabs, 2 for no X's.

let me know, because i'm sure there's an add on or tweak to make it behave the way you want.
