How does the allakhazam.com email address work that comes with Premium? I tried to send a test email to 'thermalnoise@allakhazam.com' but it gets returned as "User unknown".

It is off by default. You have to specifically enable it on your user profile. There is a checkbox for "display E-mail address in forum" or something like that in there. Once that is enabled the address will be active.

You can tell who has that feature turned on by looking for the "e-mail user" buttons at the top of forum posts.

When I go to my account page I see this:

Email Address: h**********@gmail.com
Publicise Email: [Checkbox] Yes

I checked off Yes -- I hope that was the right option. I am guessing that is the "display E-mail address in forum" option?
