New Allakazham Website... (was forum=28)Follow
Hello--
I am posting here in hopes that it won't be considered like one of the million FF vs insert game here posts that occur in the main forum.
I am just curious if anyone has heard on whether the admisistrators of Allakhazam will be hosting a website for the game Vanguard: Saga of Heros.
I spent several years playing FF and this website was my guiding light so I thought I would pose the question as I look to the future.
Again please don't construe this as a flame against FF just a question where I wasnt sure where to pose.

There are no plans to host a Vanguard site. The primary reasons being a lack of resources, the fact that Lord of the Rings is shaping up to be a better use of limited Alla resources than the buggy and unfinished Vanguard and because Vanguard (SOE) chose not to include Allakhazam.com in the beta where they could begin the early data collection to assemble a site. The Vanguard devs have stated that they do not intend to facilitate a relationship with Allakhazam since Alla's is owned by the same parent company which owns IGE.
I am not an employee of Allakhazam LLC and do not speak officially. I welcome corrections to any mistakes. The above is based on previous administrator posts and statements and other user posts.

I think that LOTRO just seems like a better game IMO. I could run it on 256 RAM while vanguard seems to only want people with ultra top of the line computers to play their game. I think they're "cutting off their nose to spite their face" by talking sh*t on Allakhazam and for making a game that the average joe can't play due to expensive computer requirements.
Thats pretty much it.
