All the data is available without premium. The main advantages you get with premium is the search tools and the banner ads going away. Yes, some things are going to be different on this version here at this site, and some of the free things from ogame may no longer be free, however the money will go towards hireing more staff members to update things for the site.

Some will be individual for longer than others, but the goal is to bring them all under the same framework so that your login gives you acceess to everything. Unified forums and forum post counts, easy switching through to other sites, PM's that you can access from any site, thngs like that. In most cases Ogaming and our existing sites do not overlap. EQ2 was an exceptoin. Our WoW, EQ, and FFXI sites blew the ogaming ones out of the water, they have sites for games we don't cover, like city of heroes. On those existing ogame sites, the framework will likely stay very similar, probably replacing the forum and user settings with ours, and maybe adding some links back to the other sites like the top links bar on all the sites here, etc.
