In this post in my journal, anonymous made a post referencing goldselling. I nuked it already, and realise that it's using "anonymous", but thought it prudent to bring it to your attention.

What was the point of anon posting in journals anyway?
Once upon a time, they allowed anonymous posting in the forums. I'm guessing that, when they turned that off, they just never thought to disable it in the journals as well and it was never an issue until now.

Believe it or not, back in the days when the site was mostly just EQ.... people just didn't care nearly as much
