How does one rate posts?Follow

#1 Sep 03 2006 at 9:54 PM Rating: Good
I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question, but neither myself or my spouse can find the option. I've clicked on the "Rate Posts" -- but it only reloads the screen, and there is no option on the posts to rate them.

I am not a premium member (I will be upgrading after I complete this post) but according to the FAQ, one need not be in order to rate posts.

I've posted 4 times thus far, my posts have been informative and contained links to everything I've mentioned -- links to the places on Allakhazam, of course. :)

Do I need a certain number of posts before I can rate? I generally go for quality over quantity, any post I write I spent time on to make sure it includes all relevant information... if there is a post number requirement, could someone please let me know?

Thank you in advance, I appreciate any information on this, and I'll check back for answers -- or I can be sent an Allakhazam private message -- that might be better as I'd be sure to see that.

Thanks again,
Kekkai

For starters, you have to have more than 15 posts, and a karma rateing of over 3.00 to be able to rate a post. until you reach that level you will not see a rate button.

I would reccomend you take a look at the forum faq. Many of your future questions will be answered in there:

To the left of every post under the poster's name is a dropdown box that says by default "Select rating". Select the ratings for the posts on the page that you want to set, then hit rate posts.

That drop down won't show up until you have more than 15 posts and your karma is above the default level that you start with.

I hope this helps.
