Premium Services not registeringFollow

I have subscribed recently for premium services. On my membership page it says Premium services are not enabled.

You have reached a service only available to Premium Members. Membership is very inexpensive and easy to get. To find out more about what is offered by our premium membership, as well as the prices to join, go to this link.

Also I see where another member has had the same problem ... You can find their post about the same problem here ...

I read the response which was given to this person and I have done that. I logged out of my account, cleared my cookies and my cache and logged back in. Still not showing my Premium membership stauts. I have also emailed allakhazam@allakhazam.com and so far gotten no respone.

Please correct my account so that I can enter areas that I have paid for. I am currently on a 1 year subscription.

I will forward this along to a programmer as allakhazam is out of town for the week, thus the reason for no response.

Thank you for taking the time to forward this on ... I have one more question ... Are we going to be compensated for our missed time ... Another words I paid for my Premium account a week ago ... So if it takes another week or however long will this missed time be added and my expiration date changed ....

Premium services are showing as enabled in your account. There is nothing more we can do on our end to enable them furtherIt is either the cacheing issue, or possibly a corrupted temporary file folder that won't release the cookie value when you clear your cache. I would speak with your ISP and see if they are cacheing HTML traffic, and if they are, tell them to knock it off. If they cannot, you can get a refund by e-mailing allakhazam@allakhzam.com. Please include a link to this thread in the e-mail and let him know you are experiancing the cached site problem. Sorry i can't give you better news.

I have never had this problem at all until recently when my membership recently expired and I renewed. All of the sudden this bug is happening at both my home internet access (through my DSL / Phone provider) and at work (through the US Navy). Since I can assure you that we are not both using the same Port 80 cache, the problem is not on the ISP. Not only that but PepsiKiss and I both encountered this problem on our recent renewal.

I removed and re-added both of your premium account statuses. Let me know if that changed anything.

No change, so I logged out, cleared cookies, deleted temp internet files, closed browser and tried again. No luck.

If you try a skin nobody uses (eqoa.allakhazam.com) does it still say you're not premium on the pages?

I also just wiped your sessions cache table, so you'll probably have to relog back in.

That link to EQOA works, but the odd thing is that it works when I am both logged in and not logged in. I don't know what to say about that. Well at least the "view items by zone". I'm not really familiar with the skin to know exactly what is and what isn't premium area there.

Yes I had to log back in, no worries. The problems still persist though. Going to try the other sites here (EQ2 / and whatever else you have) to check the scale of the problem.

So do you get the [Welcome Sedrek] every time, or do you get ads up there occasionally? That's run by a different server than the one that checks premium on actual item pages.

Get the welcome on all, everything in DAoC appears to be working. Extensive tradeskill listings / expandable recipies / item location by zone / stats, can't find anything that isn't working there, came back to EQ section, still see welcome sedrek message, yet show items by zone not working..

BTW, I think this help on the fly is great. I appreciate all your hard work.


Also of note, the wishlist thing works,( priemium function according to the chards) but the items and quest searches are grayed out)

Looks like your and the other guy's accounts got caught in the data corruption error we had at the time you renewed premium. We thought only WOW tables got caught, but apparently the users table had an issue too. I'll bump the two of your premiums up by the time that your accounts have been corrupted.

Thanks a bunch and for the adjustment. Just so you know, the item search database and quest serach are also working as intended now
