Time lords!

Terrible show by the way. Can't find a thing about it that I like. I probably could if the main character didn't annoy me so much.

I watched about half a dozen episodes of the first (newly released) season, when the Doctor is played by that soldier lieutenant from 28 Days Later. It was pretty good; the fourth episode with the creepy gas-mask children was actually spooky. I wasn't sucked in completely, but I found it worth watching if you have nothing better to see.

Verrrrry British though. Extremely so.

I don't know what episodes I've seen as I only see it when my mother-in-law is down for the weekend as she's a fan. I don't think I've seen newer seasons, as I'm don't think the annoying doctor is from 28 Days.

I've never even seen the show and I know that it's TARDIS.

I haven't seen a newer episode then. Maybe I'll see one next time MiL is up and give it a second chance.

The semi old new ones are good. The new new ones aren't, I'm told.

Matt Smith isn't bad, he's just different. More reserved than the Tenth Doctor was. Eccleston (Ninth Doctor, the guy LockeCole posted a picture of) is probably still my favourite Doctor, even though he was only around for one season.

In any case, it does take some getting used to. Took me a couple of years of my friends geeking out about it, and linking me to various clips, before I finally sat down and started watching it seriously, but I'm definitely glad that I did. I also find that I liked the episodes written by Steven Moffat a lot better than the ones that Russel Davies did... the gas-mask children episodes were written by Moffat, and he writes most of the newer stuff as well.

I just think it is amusing that the Doctors "daughter" is actually the real daughter of the 5th Doctor. I just wish they would do more with her.

I've only seen the episodes with the one with the scarf.

That is the most awesome scarf ever =p

Also, that Doctor (the Fourth) has made cameo appearances in Futurama and The Simpsons. Matt Groening is apparently a pretty big Doctor Who fan.

I'm probably one of the few that actually watched the first season of Dr. Who back when it first was aired in the USA. I watched it through the 5th doctor and then moved on to other shows. I've just started watching it again and BBC has greatly improved the special effects on the show. I used to laugh when they were running in
caves and they walls would move as they ran by. Most times I watched for the plots and the way they used science
in things.
