Ok, are there any animes out there with very similar graphics and characters to the ones in the Daiteikoku introduction?

FU Sassy.

There is a forum on this site, which is extremely active and could provide you with many worthwhile responses. Far more than you'd receive by just posting this here. Step out of your comfort box and learn to help others help you by going to the best places for these types of things, in the first place.

If this were true, I would not have put the OP here. Smiley: oyvey

At 1:30, giggling at the thought of a star fox animu.

Also, looks like the OP from most Japanese interactive novels, but I guess that is due to all the stillness in the characters throughout the opening. Unfortunately I can't identify exactly the drawing style, but it doesn't seem too dissimilar to general art direction around 1995-2003. Male characters pretty bishounen.

As for similar styles? Maybe Galaxy Angels, Outlaw Star? Those both seem a little older than this though.

Its a VNG about ww2 set in space. I'd look for a something billed as a space opera.

While we're sort of on the subject Allegory, do you have a series you wanted me to watch? I've whittled my choices down to 3, your choice will make my final decision.

Is that the 49 post thread whose OP is dated July 9th?

OS is an awesome series, a few years ago I played an "A Brave New World" campaign with 2 characters based off of Gene and Jim.

Meh, Ugly's not wrong. This would have done just as well (as far as useful answers go) in =5.

He could also just not read the thread though :P.

Pfff. We all know it's really here for the post count padding when it eventually derails. :D

I thought it had to do with Ari's nickname of you as Sassy.

If my name had anything to do with my posts and posting style, there'd be no S to start that nickname off with.

I was thinking this was a prisoner's dilemma type situation ,with you having at least one good and one awful show lined up for me, but I'll just be honest with you. I said it before that I watched an episode of the show I was going to make you watch as a punishment (Papuwa) and I genuinely felt pity for you. I can't imagine forcing anyone to go through that, not without feeling like Hitler.

So Baccano! it is. I think you have a fair chance to find it enjoyable, and it should be at least a little enriching. You're also limited to only 16 episodes with this series.

Yeah, had you gone with Papuwa you would have been the proud new owner of either Gravitation, Chobits or Overfiend.

Instead you get to watch Monster, unless you've already seen it.

I've seen Chobits and enjoyed it :(. Meh I was 14 at the time and Clamp just is something you just have to accept as it is.

Seen Monster. If you're going to go with anime, check here to see what I've already seen.

Admittedly, not the worst fanfiction idea I've run across.
