Since everyone is privy to all the bad aspects of my life, I figured I would throw some good in there too. Today has been a wonderful day! Spent the entire day away from the house, hanging out with my two best friends. Now, I am home and plan to take a cold shower (because it is 100-degrees outside and my air conditioning sucks!), watch some TV, read my Kindle (which is the greatest invention known to man, ***** the wheel or sliced bread!), and then some Dungeons and Dragons tonight! I know, I am a nerd...

I will not let anyone or anything ***** up my good day! How is everyone's Sunday going?

Mines been ok. I went to the STL Zoo. So many people.
I ended the trip with getting a character drawing done of me (I kind of collect them >.>). Doesn't really look like me...looks like some kind of Asian man, and that is what makes it so great.

When my husband and I went to Vegas, we got a character drawing done by one of the street vendors on Freemont. I had it framed and gave it to his mom. She loved it!

If it's not 4th, she's missing out.

See, I had no idea you were referring to D&D there, which was why I asked what you were talking about.

I now realize though that I was wrong to try and clarify then, because I didn't fully consider the possibility of future +1s addressing the same subject.

I bet Uglysasquatch wouldn't bail on 4Ed games.

I miss D&D. I have neither the time nor the resources (i.e. people) to play anymore, and it makes me sad.

In other news, I'm glad you had a good day Delva. May there be many more in your future.

It's always nice to relax and enjoy life. The good times with friends are the best. As time goes on they become rarer and less. Yet they are still some of the best. Take a moment and reflect upon the ones that gave their lives to insure that you can enjoy this holliday weekend. I've personally lost several friends in the last few conflicts.

ED3.5

We are looking into branching out into ED4 when we finish our current campaign. I have the ED4 core rulebooks on my computer and have been looking them over. I am reserving judgment until we put a campaign into action. They have changed a lot of things and I don't know if it will be good changes or bad changes yet.

Allegory and I had this discussion before and I was with you. Wasn't liking the idea of 4th at all. Then I played it and, well...see above linked thread. I don't ever do that.

Ah, now that thread makes much more sense. It's not that I am not liking the idea, it's just that a lot of things have changed. It couldn't be any worse than THAC0 though!

Mechanically, 4th is a much better, more balanced game. As a GM, it's more difficult to blow life into it, as just creating something with it is easier. Try to tell a story and your campaign builds itself, rather than the other way around.

If we ever give up on Rift and start another campaign, perhaps you can join us. If you're not too busy looking at vaginas, that is.

I should have time to play when I'm not doing the 5pm-5am shift. Babies don't care about normal sleep schedules when they're ready to pop out. Smiley: frown
