But I won't since I don't start threads anymore in =4. I'm not a very interesting person
I just found out today that I got the job I applied for April 10th. Starting June 6, I will be working for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services as a Human Services Program Coordinator. That's a fancy way of saying that my main function will be determining eligibility for BadgerCare Plus, Family Planning Services, Foodshare (SNAP or foodstamps), Medicaid and possibly additional programs depending on our governors budget. To put it in short terms, I'll play detective with peoples cases and determine if they are eligible or not to receive benefits and issue those benefits if so. It's kind of what I already do working for HP Enterprises with a higher security clearance and more toys to play with.
And I'll be a public worker instead of working for a contractor.
tl;dr I'm making lots more money and probably pissing off fringe righties.
Seriously though, I already love my job. I have a huge daily impact on peoples lives and I actually feel good about my work as is instead of the typical corporate schmuck. I help people that are in desperate need on a daily basis.
Edit: I need to take an English class, it's been too long I guess.
