I find myself more apt to believe in a rabbit pooping out egg's and candy versus a mans resurrection. Happy Easter.

What about if the resurrected man dressed as a bunny that poops out colorful eggs and candy?

Then he would post on a Furry forum. And probably be a zombie with diabetes.

Whooping cough got me out of going to church my one day a year. Maybe there IS a god...

I seem to recall the Christmas season (most of December, pretty much) was when we used to go to church more regularly than Easter.

And St Martin's Day. <3

I know why the dog looks so sad, but that bunny seems very angry.

The dog changed it's mind about putting out at the last moment, after the person in the bunny suit put so much effort in for the roleplay.

We try to go to church with the in-laws on Easter Sunday every year. They're very religious, and it makes them happy. My husband had to suffer through it alone this year. I do feel badly for him, but he could've told his parents that I was so sick I needed him at home. Ah, well.

The only down side is I don't get the nice ham dinner that he gets.

Happy Sunday after the Equinox. All hail Ä’ostre the fertility goddess.

Do you ever just smile and let people do their thing? Does the joy on some child's face when he or she sees the basket full of goodies in the morning count for nothing?

Not really, but the Walmart commercial with the camo easter eggs may me laugh.

Seriously though, brightly painted people with fire fans are so much more awesome than bunnies that lay chocolate eggs and Zombie Jesus.

Did you ever think maybe I want to celebrate the festival of Ä’ostre, instead of some zombie?

The old pre-Saxon festival is the whole reason for Bunnies and Easter Eggs.

Oh, that's fine then. That's the only part of the holiday that I care for. I'm kinda pro santa, too.

Excellent, I'm glad we found some common ground.

Santa was made up to sell more Coca-Cola, so it's all good. Read: I'm talking about the colours of his suit, Santa used to be blue, truefax.

I can celebrate the mid point of the Equinox and the Solstice, too! Good old Beltain. (May day, for those who don't get it.)

First day of Summer, in Ireland any way. Tradition and all that.

When it is really depends on what the Moon is up to. Traditionally any way. It's pretty much May 1st these days, iirc.
