Happy Birthday yay! Typically I don't make a huge deal over this but since the hubby is home and my family is "complete", we did. I got two cakes (fatty cakes! rainbow chip and pineapple upside down)). We went out to eat at The Creek in Boerne (pronounced Bernie) with the munchkins, chased some Geese at the river by the restaurant and then we went for a drive; looking at the houses, the land and farm animals (to which Suki stated that each was hers.."cow mine! moo!").

Best part was just getting to be with my family.

Felicitations!

Aren't small kids the best!? (when they aren't problematic? =^-^=) My youngest sister was born when I was 13, and she was the light and centre of the family. Endlessly fun and fascinating to play with and watch developing. She's even better now she's 25 and we can have deep and meaningfuls with. I love people!

I have so many good memories of flocks of birds when I was a kid. The sea-gulls at various beaches with stately trees. The white ducks at Richmond bridge in Tasmania. The brown ducks down the Creek near my inner suburban home. The black swans on the lakes at the Botanical Gardens in the city.

they make everything wonderful, even when they aren't behaving proper and on full meltdown. My children are so incredibly affectionate that even on full meltdown they cuddle me and tell me they love me.

I never thought that I would have a family of my own and now that I do, I can't really think of anything else to ever wish for heh

Crazy is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Actually she's the sanest person in the family. Technically she is my half sister, and has more stable genes from her dad. She's wicked smart, and very interesting to talk to. Fascinated with the world, and with the motivation to have studied overseas, done aid work in another place, gotten her dive certificate and underwater camera, and visited all over S-E Asia and Europe already. Ace photographer, wants to be with National Geographic, has art photography training, and is working in an Architect firm to establish herself since she couldn't get an overseas photography job with anyone she wanted straight away.

I know I'm partial as a doting older sister, but I really think that if I'd met her as a stranger at uni or at a dinner party, I would have struck up a firm friendship with her. I moved cities when she was 7, and didn't see a lot of her growing up, so I met her anew at different stages of her life.

It's a shame arranged marriages are over. But wait! We have test-tube babies! I think Niobia's children NEED to be crossbred with Wint's. Talk about adorableness overload.
