What's the new youtube?

Current Youtube has been ticking me off and I'd like a secondary source.

That fulfills none of the reasons I go to Youtube.

You need to specify why you go to Youtube so we can provide the correct results. CollegeHumor and Metacafe are good for weird/funny videos.

Grooveshark/Pandora ought to suffice for anything musical, unless you were specifically looking for music videos.

I use pandora, but it does not allow me to replay, or specifically choose music.

I haven't found anything that effectively allows artists to self promote the way a youtube channel does so I'm sticking with it for now.

I'm curious, what about current youtube is annoying you? The ads? I only find those on "official" videos, so I often avoid them. Is there anything else?

MvC3 league tournament and SC2 commentary/tourny videos always seem to have really annoying ads on them, from my experience.

Just wait until US elections time again so we can see all the elephants and donkeys verbally beating on each other again :/

Am I doing something that gives the impression that I'm looking for subs?

Not, that I'm not per se, but I'm looking for other stuff too, but I'm just curious as to what I'm doing to create those impressions.

Iamadam's post amused me. I was inspired to copy, ("Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.") and put my own concupiscent twist on it.

This should reveal far more about my own light reading tastes, than on YOUR recreational activities, which seem to be audio-visual based.

PS there may be some very confused audiophiles out there right now...

Doesn't AdBlock take care of those? I've got no ads on any of the YouTube videos I've watched, including videos where others are complaining about ads in the commentaries.

Huh. Your title seems familiar. Are you someone who had his or her name changed?

Thanks for that. Just started using Grooveshark and so far it's amazing. I hope they make an app.

How is it that you see ads on youtube? With noscript and adblock I've never seen a single youtube ad. Can someone link me to a video with an ad so I can be certain I just haven't coincidentally never viewed a video that should have had ads?

Yes.

I am having a senile moment. It might have been Soracloud. Meditteranean looking American, into beer in a big way, gorgeous wife if you like very typical American good looks*, cute little daughter. Also into cooking and FFxi.

*I tend to like my women either more quirky looking, or much more ice-queenish.
