Tomorrow is the gay pride parade thingy in Amsterdam, I was thinking of going because it's a circus and there should be some cool photos to be made. (Just google gay parade Amsterdam and you'll see what I mean)
But it would cost me some money for travel and I can't say I have much to spare in that area with other things coming up that will probably cost me some extra as well.

If you need us to decide for you, then you know you don't really want to go bad enough to have to fork out any money.

Use your business wiles to make it a profitable enterprise.

Ask Nixnot how.

If you're tight on money then a gay parade is not exactly a worthy place to spend. Save it for things you need. Unless you thrive off gay parades. In that case, go for it.

After a bit of discussion, my roommate and I have decided that an Aliens movie where all the Aliens were the size of mice would be AWESOME.

Never expose the Alien to bright lights, never put it in water, and never feed it after midnight.

And they travel back in time if they reach 88 MPH.

It could be the next great blockbuster. We need to produce it on Youtube with a budget of...$2.50, which is what I have on my desk in quarters.

We need to work in one more element, like maybe an early 80's coin-op game that can't translate into a movie at all, like that lame Pac-Man movie trailer everyone was gushing about, where it was just some jack-*** with a yellow helmet. And then at the end there was a girl with the same helmet, but she had a bow on it. OH LOOK, THAT MUST BE MS PAC-MAN!!!!LOLOLOL

/me spits in disgust.

Aside from hating parades, I also think the gay community is outdated in their approach to PR. Parades are great for letting people know you exist, but the presence of homosexuality is fairly ubiquitous in America in the year 2010. What they need is is to focus on changing attitudes. Charities set up to serve the community under the banner of homosexuality would go a lot further, especially towards targeting typically antihomosexual demographics like low income families.

I think this is more of a party thing for most people than it is purely about furthering gay rights.
Aside from some minorities it's not that much of a deal whether you're straight or gay here, there is still some prejudice but that'll take time to go away.
The whole parade is also a bit of a tradition and for many people a place where you have to be seen, including politicians.

If we're going to work in an early 80's coin-op game, I'm afraid I'll have to recommend The Pit.
