People couldn't identify the taste of a food they've probably never ate before? Shocking.

I was talking about Pate, or whatever that is (minced liver paste?), but I suppose you could be too. :P

The study says they used a fancy dog food made from "human grade" meats for their study. That's a bit different from throwing down a can of Alpo.

I can't believe you'd even say that.

That's beside the point.

I like pate. It's yummy with toast points.

You can dress liverwurst up to be low quality pate if you want. But pate...yum. Ranks up there with smoked salmon. I love food. Can we talk about more?

I hear you should eat pate because it lowers your risk of heart disease. I heard a minute later you shouldn't eat pate because it increases your chance of brain cancer.

Reminds me of my speech class back in college! We had to do a speech with a prop. One of the students was a Native American Indian. At the start of the speech he passed out plates of food on crackers. I got mine and I put it down. I could tell it snelled like Alpo the dog food I fed our dogs. However, most of the class ate it without any thought. Including the teacher who ate mine also! "What you have been eating is the staple of the American Indian's diet. It's dog food." He stated starting his speech. I began laughing and everyone was gaging and the speech teacher was about to barf! It's still funny yet to me all these years later. And yes the Indian got an A+ on his speech.

As a former Public Speaking instructor, I might have given this student an A depending on the purpose the speech. It does draw attention as long as it relates to an appropriate topic.
