I'm trying to figure out what to eat for lunch and since the office has relocated, there are no good eating places around in this part of this surfer town. So, my choices are limited.

Burger
Tacos/Burrito
Pizza
Pasta

The Italian place is the most expensive place in the 4 block radius.

I miss my sushi place.

Help.

There are 2 places. One is standard Mexican fare but very good and the other has all these different flavors such as a Thai or Caribbean chicken/shrimp/scallop burrito thing going on. And the different flavor place is cheaper than the standard place.

I could go and just get a doughnut from this one coffee shop that has the best doughnuts I have ever had the pleasure of melting in my mouth. That place is straight food **** to me.

I love these threads. I don't have any food to speak of though. I'll eat tomorrow when I get paid.

I'd go with fish, but only because I had some delicious grilled salmon with pineapple/coconut sauce with couscous, squash and grilled pineapple about an hour ago. But since that doesn't seem to be an option unless you get fish pasta/tacos, erm...burger.

And I just remembered that I brought lunch from home. Chicken & mushroom alfredo over linguine with steamed asparagus.

But I do wish I could have sushi.

That sounds pretty good, though I also wish for sushi.

I had PB&J (homemade peach jelly), Cheese Puffs, and Chocolate Pudding for lunch. So unhealthy, yet so delicious...

You should get a gyro.

If there's no gyro places, you should move.

I had a really tasty lamb gyro a few weeks back. I should go back to that place.

This is because I both didn't know what it was, and upon seeing a picture of it said it looked disgusting.

Eat a bowl of it, and then we'll talk.

...there is nothing better after a night of dancing and drinking; however, before I tried it, I would not have thought it would be good either. The one thing my ex-mother-in-law was awesome at was cooking up a pot of that for the younger crowd to enjoy after a night out. Smiley: grin

Pho doesn't look bad to me.
Not fantastic, but definitely not something I'd label as disgusting either.
