If you hide your cable cleverly enough, how would they know, anyway? Are they the Cable Gestapo or something?
He could hide it in the shower. I bet no one would ever think of him.

With the paycheck coming on Friday I'm going to blow most of it on a Samsung Captivate, groceries, a PCI Wifi card, and the thingamajigs to connect my PS3 to my monitor and computer speakers. Listed in order of importance.
Then don't hide it. Just run the damn thing on your carpet.
Maybe you should ask if you can keep the cable as a pet. After paying the pet deposit, you should be in the clear.
