I can't really think of any reason why a person shouldn't have at least SOME kind of job.

Ignoring the potential innuendo in your statement, if I were to get laid off and collect unemployment, I would be rather stupid to accept any job that paid less than the unemployment check I was collecting, which I suppose is the reason for many who continue to draw unemployment for the maximum allowed period.

I don't know, I'd be pretty much bored out of my mind if I didn't have a job.

Maybe for "many" but there is also a huge number of people who continue to draw UI because they are able to get by on it, and not actually have to do anything. ****, I didn't even have to prove I was looking for a job until this very last extension, when I had to mail in a form every week with three places I applied to written down.

It's really not that hard to stay busy for 15-20 hours a day.

Grats, Spoonless. Now go out and buy a house or something, so I can get back up to 40 hours per week.

Oh, i guess that makes sense. I didn't even realize he triple posted. Guess i'm just so used to doing it myself.

In fact, i didn't even read his posts. Eh, posting here is like a job for me tbh. I spend more time posting here than most people spend working Smiley: laugh
