It's pretty awesome.

The best part is that on either side of my head, there is a groove where my glasses were. My guess is that fat was growing around them. You ever seen a picture where a tree has grown around a sign post that's been there for years? Yeah, like that.

I can't stand contacts. My eyes get pretty dry as it is (plus all the pot). So I just went the easy route of corrective eye surgery! It was like being taken by aliens and upgraded.

...wasn't it Bijou's eyeball that got bitten by a brown recluse? ...and yeah... why wear Frisbees in your eyeballs when you can go for the end all of enhancements and get lasers installed?

Is this an example of massive cross-thread shennanigans?

Because it sure looks like an example of massive cross-thread shennanigans. Smiley: nod

Me too.

I've had free corrective surgery offered more than once and I just can't do it. I love my glasses and they love me.

I think I look better with glasses.

They also let you do that thing where you take them off for dramatic effect.

It would, however, be nice to be able to get non-prescription sunglasses.

I had RK/AK around 15 years ago, BEST thing I have ever done. I went to the eye DR for the first time yesterday since my surgery. I am still seeing at 20/20.

I prefer looking at people over them.

20/20 would be freaking sweet. YEARS ago, I asked my eye doctor at the time what my vision. He said it was so bad, he couldn't measure it, but he estimated it at 20/1000. It's a lot worse now than it was then too. Smiley: lolblind
