Yeah, because peoples' goals, wants and needs don't change at all ever, especially not from the time they're 18 until they're 29.

I think it's because this is in the OoT, but I keep seeing the title of this thread as, "I Took a Big **** Yesterday", and honestly, I'd be more interested.

Whoa, Tofu, I should have figured something big was happening from the FB updates! Good on you I says! Yes it'll be tough, but you're definitely doing the right thing, and the road might be long and hard but you've got people who will offer you support every step of the way!

Nope, never.

It is rare the right thing is the easy thing. Best Tofu.

ps- I did live with an ex fiancee for @6 weeks due to circumstances. He moved into the other bedroom. It was odd. When I stopped be utterly pissed, we were able to have some conversations that did provide some closure. Best thing though was that I didn't marry the guy...

Congratulations, Tofu.

My husband and I had the baby talk a while ago. It can get rather uncomfortable and awkward. I'm proud of you for not letting him steer your life in ways that you aren't happy with.

And I think you're right. It'll be scary at first to be on your own for the first time in a long time, but then it'll get awesome. Smiley: laugh It's such a good feeling to know that you can take care of yourself, no matter what.

Good luck, and if you need to vent or get anything off your chest, feel free to PM me.

I commend you for being forthcoming with him, I do though think you are making a mistake still being there. Wouldn't it be better to at least stay at a friends a few nights a week? For the both of you?

I'm sure if you asked him to make butt-babies he'd say yes.

Sounds like a reasonable compromise to me.

I hope the answer is yes.

Since sleeping with Belkira is out of the question I can wait 18 years (16 in Canada) for a daughter to mature.

You know, Tofu, if you really want to get pregnant a good idea might be to wear a Belkira mask.

What the @#%^ kind of shenanigans is this?!
Bullsh*t Shennanigans. Everyone knows the rules of Shotgun and this is not part of it. This is some bullsh*t someone pulled on flixa and he fell for it.

Not as Flixa stated it, no.

Scenario: Four people. All have driven to the current location. Someone asks "who's driving?" As soon as a driver volunteers, anyone can call shotgun AT THAT POINT regardless of line-of-sight to said car.

I feel for ya, toohot. Smiley: frown

Nah. I was a little conflicted, at first, 'cause I always sort of felt like I'd have a kid eventually. But I sort of started realizing that I don't really want to, and I only felt that way because it just seemed like the inevitable product of a marriage. My husband and I... well, we aren't what you'd call "clean people," and our eating habits suck. We love to hang out and drink and play video games until three in the morning, then sleep until noon. A kid just wouldn't fit in. Smiley: lol

I'm ok being selfish on this one. Smiley: nod

I did inform my husband today, though, that we'd be getting a puppy eventually. He's not too excited about that. I told him it's better than a kid.

Lol I told the hubby we would have plants before kids... And I second Nad on this one, not selfish at all. So many people have kids for the wrong reasons. Not having them or having them for right reasons is pretty good.
