Seriously I guess thats one thing that I do like about him. His cancer has been in full remission since last year, but all the worrying and dealing with people treating him like he was a walking corpse, he gets what I'm going through in life. I'm always scared to get involved with someone because that is my big pity-party moment. I cant stand the fact that the person I'm with will have to watch me die away. /emowrist

If I loved someone and knew that they were dying, I would be so happy that I got to get the time with them that I did. Any and all hideous pain and grief that losing them will cause me shall be utterly paid for by the pleasure of their present company, and the happy memories I have of them later.
It's such an old cliche, but it's
so true, that it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. You'll give far more to him than you'll ever take away.
