Everyone loves dressing up for the holidays, right? What, you don't? Don't you go to Halloween parties at least? Fine, you'll at least dress up your kids. What are the ideas for the holiday? Also, want to help me decide on something? I actually plan on going out this Halloween (usually I just dress up cheaply and wander around town) and I want an actual costume. Right now I have two ideas: Will Schuester from Glee, or a Mormon missionary. Each have pros and cons: costs are probably under $100 for both (the Glee costume might be more; need a sweater vest and some hair styling). But I'm also open to other ideas; so dish, what costumes are you setting up this season?
A coworker told me he was dressing up as Ichigo from bleach and asked me if he could borrow his sword which I had made a couple years ago. I jokingly said I was going to dress up as a hollow and he said great idea. I am in the middle of making the mask and a large articulated hand.

What kind of hollow you going as? And he going with the generic Ichigo look, or the Final something or otherAizen Beatdown look?
So, you never had a girlfriend, just a feminine boyfriend? Or are you one of them gluttons who swings both ways.
'Fraid I'm straight as an arrow! Just happen to like Glee and musicals
Why not a Mormon missionary, by the way? It's an easy costume, reusable (name tag excluded), and pretty likely to get a reaction. Also it gives me cause to burst into songs from "The Book of Mormon" hit Broadway musical when I get drunk enough!
That's what I thought, just wasn't sure any more with some of your recent posts.

I'm all for getting a rise out of someone, but any time you bring something as polar as religion into it, you're walking a fine line and those who end up offended are going to often, over-react.
I am going to dress up as Corey Taylor. I've already got the jumpsuit now all I need is his old school Ghost Glow mask. I like his newer masks but the old school is my favorite. I can't decide if I wanna do the dreads or the rainbow hair. The dread mask will be easier to find but I am really liking the rainbow hair. We'll see.

I highly doubt I'll be at any parties with religious Mormons (the ones I know personally don't drink, not sure if that's true of the entire religion), but you do have a point.

That's awesome. :P
Are you going as a specific hollow, or just your own design? There's literally an option for every body type...
If I was super thin, I'd totally go as Nnoitra...

I think he is doing the executioner grounds with the brown "cape". The sword he is borrowing is his Shikai, heavy though as it is 1 peice of solid oak. I will find a picture of the costume I wore with it a few years ago and put here.
