I cut it open with a butter knife two weeks ago and now I have this thing on my finger.

Hopefully NixNot doesn't rip out his eyes when he sees this.

See your doctor or put an antibiotic on it and a dressing like a band-aid. Keep clean dressings on it till it heals. If you *have* been using an antibiotic, I think it's time to switch it, in this case.

Or both. If it hasn't healed in 5 more days definitely see a doctor.

After you post a pic of a little bento man molesting your finger.

Nah I went to the doc and he only gave me antibiotics on the second visit. He said it's taking forever to heal cause it's at the joint.

I meant an antibiotic cream. But if movement at the joint is slowing things down, then a slightly bracing type of dressing/band-aid should help, neh?

This. How do you manage to cut yourself with a knife that has no sharp points?

How did the universe come up with the agonising irony of paper cuts?

Yet paper has nothing to back it's point up with!

I was using the knife to pry two frozen chicken thighs apart. The knife slipped and the force of my prying caused me to gash into my finger with the slightly rugged tip.

There is no reason for why I clicked on this thread. Well... morbid curiosity I guess, but still, I have no business clicking on a thread with this title.

So now you look like a Skinhead just before you go on a ***-burning rampage?

I still picture this as how most straight skinheads act in groups. Racist twits they may be, but it's hot to watch them get it on.

It doesn't look that bad Pikko, it's not all red around the edges like it would be if it was inflamed/infected. I can still see the scar from where I cut one of my fingers about 15 years ago. Granted that cut went to the bone and required 9 stitches, but it took forever to heal since it was in almost the same spot as yours.

The possibility of this not being a joke makes it ten times as funny.

Well played.

Pikko has a ****** on her finger from trying to pry two thighs apart with a butter knife? Bizarro.
