Well, in all honesty, I have no idea where I'd belong if the forums were merged and a brand new forum emerged from the ashes of the Sandbox. As it is now, I post in both the Asylum and the OOT, but I'm not 100% comfortable in the Asylum.
I think there are quite a few posters like me. They'll venture into the Asylum and make a post or three, comment on something they feel strongly about, poke Varrus, then wander back out and be themselves in here. We could still fit in if there was another new forum that's supposed to be flowers and kittens and rainbows, but we'd miss our more vulgar friends who would be banned from that forum, and we'd constantly be worrying that we'd step over the imaginary line that keeps shifting.
I also think this is a little unfair to some of the Asylum members who don't ever cross the line and post here unless it's just to "poke the moogles," as some of the old school Asylumites still tend to think of us in this forum.
If losing newer forum posters is becoming a problem because the OOT is getting too harsh, I wonder if you've considered how many older posters you'll lose because they don't like what happened to their old forum or they don't feel as if they fit in anymore.
