It's sad that this really needs addressing. I wonder how incredibly unfun it is to write those posts.

Except when they have to 'get involved', which I suspect they hate.

The only thing that continues to bug me, aside from **** I'm going to stop talking about, is that the entire forum was vibrant and having fun before all this happened. Then someone felt left out and had to **** it all up, and here we are today.

Anyway, I'm done talking about it. It's going to be a long, boring day.

No, I don't. I have a 2nd grader dealing with the SAME type of crap, it's annoying and not needed. I don't do drama or stress well... at all. I often wonder when I will get an award for being the best kindergarten teacher some times.

Yeah, I'm sure they're only do this because it's loads fun. Kaolian totally gets his rocks off being obligated to read all the whines about him in this thread. Darqflame is going to have so much fun trying to construct an official post that effectively addresses complaints and doesn't engender more drama. Allakhazam himself probably instructed them do start this shiz as part of their vacation package.

The situation that administering a forum is really hard?

I'm just gonna post my short two cents on the subject, since this thread will probably be locked soon. I'd PM an admin, but I don't think there's anything they can say that will fix my measly issue.

The fact is, BT was never PMed by an admin regarding any of these issues. All of the "warnings" were in threads that were already heated. Kaolian could have handled the situation a bit more professionally by actually taking the high road first (as the person in charge, this was his obligation in the end) and brought the issues to PMs. Instead, after Senjiow PMed his complaints, an admin (assuming DF or Kao) told him to go waaahh in the feedback forums. This is not a professional way to handle any serious personality conflicts. I just think, if the Admins had begun the cordiality by starting a PM conversation with the posters they were having a problem with, it would have been a much more mature situation. As it stands, they got what they asked for/wanted and shouldn't act like BT and Mindel acted any way other than what they expected/hoped.

This isn't about "BT didn't know there were problems!!", but the issues were never taken seriously by any admins, at least not serious enough to warrant a formal complaint to his PMs. I just wish that anyone policing the forums will maybe take into consideration the fact that the PM system should be used to handle these situations, and ********** can be avoided.

I dunno about your conclusion - that they wanted BT and Mindel to step over the line and are happy about it - but I do agree with this.

It was a mistake, in my opinion. They happen. Sadly, people don't always do the best thing at the right time.

No, the positioning of 4 players here, namely you, Ash, Brownduck, and myself. If he was simply annoyed by our discussion he would have made a general comment, and not directed it at me. IF he was simply annoyed or disagreed with the position BD and I took then it makes no sense why he would specifically address me. I'm wondering if he missed my sarcasm in the post he was responding to.

I understand the situation just fine, thanks. I'm just having a hard time decided which side of the fence you should be on. You bring such apathy disguised as a stance, add a jab here and there to make it seem like you have an opinion but in reality, you don't want to rock the boat. Just shut up already.

Do I need to take a position?

This really is getting serious. I'd like to sit on the semi-left.

I pretty clearly support Kaolian on this matter. I don't see why you are confused about which side I'm on. I'd really like to know what exactly this fence is that I'm straddling and what exactly leads you to believe I'm not opaquely on one side.
