OK, now I know everyone has seen POL-0012 or whatever the error is that you get when FFXI is just being the piece of sh*t that it is when it comes to patching but I'm pretty sure this is a fairly irregular one.
So, I got somekind of virus on Friday night, I rebuilt my OS (XP), reinstalled FFXI and Playonline. That all goes smooth but when it comes to patching; things get messed up. First off, to patch for a clean install is ~10,000 files!!! Anyway, if I don't lose my connection with the infamous 0012 error, it fails at ~50% with POL-1153 error.
So has anyone seen this?
