As brought up in another post, I've been dealing with totem selection a decent amount these last few weeks as I've run with a few different raid set-ups. There were a few different things that I realized do/don't(mainly don't) stack, so I thought I'd make a list of them here :D These will all be buff totems, so don't yell at me for not including Grounding/Tremor/Stoneclaw totems and the like, hehe. If I miss any (quite possible), or anything needs clarification, please let me know, and I'll fix it.

Earth Totems:
Stoneskin: Armor Buff - Also provided by Devotion Aura (Paladin)
Strength of Earth: Str/Agi - Also provided by Battle Shout (Warrior), Horn of Winter (Death Knight)

Fire Totems:
Flametongue Totem: Spellpower - Also provided by Demonic Pact (Warlock), Arcane Brilliance (Mage), and the Totemic Wrath talent (Elemental Shaman...don't overwrite yourself!)

Air Totems:
Wrath of Air Totem: Spell Haste - Also provided by Shadow Form (S. Priest) and Moonkin Form (Bal. Druid)
Windfury Totem: Melee/Ranged Attack Speed - Also provided by Imp. Icy Talons (Frost DK) and Hunting Party (Surv. Hunter)

Water Totems:
Mana Spring Totem: Mp5 - Provided, and then some, by Blessing of Might (Paladin); (Felhunter Warlock pet can as well)
Elemental Resistance Totem: Fire/Frost/Nature Resistance - This one is tricky...Aspect of the Wild - Nature Resist (Hunter), Resistance Aura - Fire/Frost/Shadow (Paladin), Mark of the Wild - All Types (Druid), Shadow Protection - Shadow Resist (Priest)
Totem of Tranquil Mind: Reduced Spell Pushback - Also provided by Concentration Aura (Paladin)

Some other notes...Fortitude (Priest) and Commanding Shout (Warrior) don't seem to stack, and neither do Blessing of Kings (Paladin) and Mark of the Wild (Druid), so some shuffling can be done there as well.

I'm sure I'm missing some, and there are probably other posts like this out there as well, but coming from WotLK, I didn't realize how some of the changes worked with raid buffs. Like Arcane Brilliance and Flametongue totem...makes sense when I think about it, I just hadn't thought about it, lol.

Just wondering but do these buffs all give the same effect? Is one stronger than another?

I guess what I mean is, should one of these buffs be used preferentially over another?

Most of them have the same effect...there are a few that are stronger though. Blessing of Might is better than Mana Spring Totem, both because it's not dependent on range, and because it gives an extra stat as well (Attack Power, iirc).

Demonic Pact and Totemic Wrath are both +10% Spellpower, where AB and Flametongue Totem are both +6%. The resistance buffs are all slightly different, so you'll want to choose what to use based on what resistances you need for that fight.
