Me? I can't think of a reason to move anywhere else in the world short of it being a mutual family decision, which translates to "wife decides, I whine about for a few days and begrudgingly go along with it anyway."

Assume for a second that your family all agree with whatever place you think of.

I'd move north a few more hours. Somewhere with more ocean on-flow. Too far from the coast here, don't like the warmer weather. The trick would be getting a job doing what I do, and making enough with it to live as comfortably as here (minus the weather of course).

Those are unimportant details anyway when you're daydreaming.

And I'd move to Norway, Norway just looks beautiful and I think I'd fit in with the people.

I'm all for vacation or visiting, but as far as up and moving on a relatively permanent basis I can't think of a single reason or place to do so. The way I see it, the only thing anywhere else can offer over my home now is beautiful scenery, and I can get that from a picture. Maybe within the city to one of the ritzier areas, or one of those bigass Manhattan multi-level condos. Beyond that nothing comes to mind.

You know when you are so @#%^ing tired you're almost falling asleep behind your pc so then you go to bed and stare at your ceiling for hours?

I @#%^ing hate it when that happens. I was dozing off almost 2 hours ago and I can't keep my eyes closed now that I'm in bed.

I've finally verified that I am unable to take naps. If I take a one-hour nap, I wake up feeling like I've got a case of bad hangovers. If I wake up at all. More often than not, I ignore the alarm and wake up four hours later. Four-hour naps are the worst. I get the same side effects as the one-hour nap, but unlike the one-hour nap, the four-hour nap completely ***** up my sleep cycle. I can't wake up after a four-hour nap and then simply go to sleep again a few hours later. If I do, I wake up in the middle of the night, which means I'm even more tired when I get home from work. The only other alternative is that the four-hour nap replaces my regular sleep, but then I'm completely wasted by the time I have to go to work.

If I'm feeling tired after a day at work, I tend to live off of sugar and caffeine until about 45 minutes before bed time. Then I crash, completely. I'm not kidding. If I miss that 45-minute mark, I drop where I stand. There's been times where I've barely made it from the PC to the bed (which is right next to the PC) because I went over the 45-minute mark.

Ugh, I wish I was a Type A personality sometimes. 8-4 jobs weren't made for Type B people.

Yes, although I didn't do anything fancy. Had great bagels, great pizza, and other simple things.

Saw Cinderella and Potted Potter, both were excellent.

Cinderella was a musical, Potted Potter was a two man show. Completely different both were excellent.

If I had to go to one for the first time again I'd pick Cinderella, but they are so completely different I couldn't compare them.

Here's a peek. The costume changes are way better in the actual show of course. Also lots of great humour worked in.

It's a good show, at one point in the full version they do play a quidditch game with the audience.

Actually, I think I followed the 5 (Or as you people call it up here, "I-5"). Smiley: tongue

And who made this ******* law about not letting drivers pump their own gas up here?

Yeah, it's nice in the winter though. You stay in the nice warm car while someone else runs around in all the wind and rain and stuff. I'll pay an extra penny a gallon for that. Smiley: lol

So going from Seattle to California or vice versa? Because people don't usually come here. Well unless they're beer people or something, or hippies.

My dad and I drove here from LA. We filled up in Redding, CA, and made the 420-mile drive to Portland with a 1/4 of a tank still left. For the first time in 6 years, our Camry is finally getting 33 mpg on the highway, the EPA's estimate.

The attendant who filled my tank was nice, but he topped my tank off to the nearest dollar, and I wanted to punch him in the face for doing that. I told my dad that next time, I'm taking a five-minute drive across the state border to fill my own damn tank.

Tsk tsk, gotta lay off that lead foot. Smiley: wink Our new Rav4 got 35-42 MPG on our last road trip (rated 31 hwy). Smiley: cool

Was going to say if you made it al the way here you were pretty close to being able to pump on your own again. Some people here have the opposite problem though. My sis-in-law has never pumped her own gas in her life. Smiley: rolleyes
