This is humiliating to me as a human being.

It's an arstechnica article and here's the title to tickle your curiosity: US agency baffled by modern technology, destroys mice to get rid of viruses.

that was hands down the funniest article i'd seen in almost a year. or sad, idk. probably both.

Hey Horsey, how close are you to Honolulu? Because Zwanze day 2013 is held at REAL a Gastropub -- Honolulu, Hawai'i as one of the few dozen locations worldwide to get Cantillon's very limited 2013 Zwanze beer (and likely some other fancy Cantillons).

close. i actually work in town.

i have actual drank there once or twice.

when is this fancy beer day you speak of?

edit: town is honolulu.

September 14th. You'll probably have to be there early since it's Cantillon and a very limited (46 locations worldwide) one day release. But the website of the bar will probably have more info (soon).

I'm going to have to wait a while to get the expansion. Too broke right now. Looking forward to it though.

Hey, remembering an Academy Award-winning song from your childhood is not necessarily gay.

Speaking of gay, I've been watching Glee a lot, and was really looking forward to Finn and Rachel getting together again in the fifth or sixth season, but Cory, who played Finn, died (today?), so now that'll never happen.

RIP Cory Monteith. Smiley: crymore

I really, really, really hate Glee. It has to be one of the most retarded things on TV that isn't reality TV.

Still, sucks for the guy.

The music portion of the show is pretty cheesy (especially the lame excuses they come up with to burst into singing), but there are some great covers in there, like their Umbrella/Singin' in the Rain mash-up. I'm not afraid to say that the show has opened my eyes to some great music I did not know about.

Also, the humor in it is excellent. Jane Lynch is hilarious as the coach of the cheerleaders.

Oh, Aeth, you like space and building stuff, right?

Have you tried Kerbal Space Program? It's in alpha or beta or something right now, but there's a... demo... out there. Smiley: um It's awesome, if you're into simulators, engineering/math/physics and space.

Most of what I've heard is overly happy, boring and autotuned pop that can only be seen as an insult to music.

Kerbal is on my Steam Wishlist. I'll grab it if there's a decent sale on it.

Edit

It's 40% off for $13.79 if anyone is interested.

Reddit is much, much more enjoyable with an account, if only to get rid of the retarded stuff on /r/Atheism, AdviceAnimals and Funny. Also, I think /r/Se is right up your alley Smiley: tongue

Parts of reddit is, yes. The default subreddits (a.k.a. those with the most subscribers) are what everyone sees by default, the reason they are so retarded is to lure in people to make accounts and get rid of the default subs.

Well that and the more people you get together the dumber they become.

It's worse than you think.

For bonus points, check out /r/4chan, which is nothing but screengrabs of 4chan. The content is stellar.

So much greentext...

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen anything on /r/4chan that comes remotely close to good. And all I see is those posts that are upvoted to the front page whenever I get the urge to check the front page.

I always thought your job was waste time on the internet and yelling "CAN'T YOU SEE I'M BUSY? GET OUT!" whenever someone comes to ask you for something.
