Bored Druid ThreadFollow

Yay, the last two days of my life were spent worrying about my OCD coming back and thus not daring to leave the house (I will have to tomorrow, though, or this will turn into full-blown social phobia/agoraphobia again). Also had nightmares about going outside, failing exams that are already over and lua coding. I need to leave the house. I need to leave the house. I need to leave the house.

Being socially inadequate again all of a sudden is annoying. I mean, I'm good in social situations, I'm good with strangers as soon as a conversation starts but if I saw someone for the first time when I still had this problem, and hadn't yet talked to them, they might as well have been Hitler or something with the thoughts I used to have about them sometimes, and I couldn't just randomly talk to every stranger I meet. It's gotten much much better, I haven't had this problem in well over a year, so my sudden fear about it coming back is completely random and just plain annoying.

I'm also gonna try out Grid2 today because Grid's code doesn't allow me to modify it the way I want without completely rewriting the GridFrame.lua, and I can't find an e-mail address to contact the authors directly.

I don't want to turn up to college drunk, it affects my performance too much.
I have meds that are pretty much perfect for making my symptoms go away, but I avoid taking even those because of performance drops.

Well, my main medication also affects my liver's performance quite severely and there is a strong genetic predisposition for hepatitis in my family which means that on meds, every beer I drink (and also the ones I don't drink) might make my liver implode.

So... yeah... if I can't fix this factual non-issue in the next couple of days, I'm back on meds for the first time in ages but I hope to fix it with sheer willpower. That has worked for the past year or so, and worked really well.

And basically this way you can see target castbar (top one) and focus castbar (bottom one) too.



That is one random UI, It makes no sense at all.
Also, HUUUUUUUUUGE block of buffs is painful and incredibly distracting.

It does look a bit like it was supposed to look symmetrical but made by someone who doesn't know what symmetrical means.

Also, I agree on the buffs. Shorter bars do the job, too, and that is coming from someone who needs buffs to have bars since I used CTmod from the day I started playing.

I had the best day since I stopped working in my best job so far* in 2007 today.

I don't care about video games, or sex, or social interactions, give me an environment for chemical research and I'm happy. <3

Nothing else could make me this happy, and I didn't realise I'd go to Soton today so it was sort of a surprise, too!


*Pay was zero, and it's still the best thing I ever did.

I got angry and yelled at people in a raid today.

I had to solo tank adds on Anub25 with 0 support from the numerous hunters/rogues in corralling the mobs.

Also everyone seemed to not have Omen so aggro was a crap shoot as I had to hold both with no focus firing.

A mookin pulled off me, I taunted. He kept nuking so the taunt didn't work as coupled with slowing effects on the mob he ran back to him before he was in range.

I yelled at him too.

When a hunter pulled aggro I went ******* in vent. No MDs + no FD = add burrows.

I yelled at everyone in the raid then.

******* stupid ******* morons that focus on personal DPS over the raid downing a boss for the win.

Aeth when did hunters shove a 2x4 up their collective asses?

Sadly was reg.

I didn't want to run off the ice to get mobs as we didn't have the heals/DPS to handle multiple mobs burrows. Was a PuG.

Still I get angry at people that are being ******* stupid when doing easy things could make it 100 times easier.

If it was hard I would have been on Anub anyway.

I did, with much cussing and anger.

I have no problem cussing people in vent.

Ramble on? Squaric acid is beautiful. BEAUTIFUL. Less than three.

Anyway.
Biology class is fun. We taught our teacher to say EPIC FAIL today, when he handed out the so-called Legendary Mitosis Game, my classmate complained that it wasn't actually legendary and then agreed with me when I remarked that it lacked the colour orange (Side note: I think it's funny how oranje = legendary).
Also, apparently my hawt paladin classmate wants me to teach her Dutch on Vent. Yeah, no idea how that is supposed to work. Apart from the fact that I see her pretty much every day in real life.
But I think I've got her nearly persuaded to play with us on Kazzak sometime soon, though, and introducing Aeth to cute girls can never hurt. :3

I tried to post from college in ICT because ICT is boring (making a spreadsheet with ages, gender, location and other random data of students is no fun), and according to my ICT teacher, the programming courses offered at our college all teach Visual Basic. VISUAL BASIC. The syllabus says something along the lines of "The colleges may choose between Pascal, C, C#, VB or XML" (there were a few more), which is a stupid idea, I think. I might still take the first year of that next year because at least I've never failed at VB before.

Edit: No, I am totally not abusing this thread as my diary. I fact, I wrote 5.5 A4 pages worth of diary shiz today already. On paper, with a pen.

Edit²: And I do care about video games and sex, just not when I have an experiment to do. I should try to do Arena while having sex while extracting random stuff out of random plants in the background. Or maybe just do Arena without sucking really badly, ever.

OmniCC does that, if I`m not mistaken.

Use the same textures for all bars (Pitbull and Grid, mainly, from what I can see).

OmniCC does the cooldown timer.

Why is everything in different areas of the screen? And why have you got the ugly Grid background displayed?

Get SexyMap for the map, it has far too many useless features but it'll do what you want.


Edit: I don't know what it is with the one line paragraphs. Additionally, Mazra, this is squaric acid. Yes, the name is quite obvious. It has a few very interesting properties (like bond angles of ~90 degrees, kill me for finding that fascinating).
